Memory Function - Korg Pa4x

Paul Carman highlights 2 different modes on the Memory Function. In the first example on the style parts are subject to the Memory function whereas the second example shows both the Style parts and Lower Voices affected by the Memory.

Hello Paul, I've been following your tutorials which are very helpful. I have a problem not related to this present one, but I can't find the answer anywhere else. When I press variation in some of the styles there's and annoying momentary surge in the volume. Have you experienced this, or do you know how I can fix it? Many thanks.
