This is a Great Video (Thumbs Up) as a newer creator to experienced, How much time really went into this Video; Idea to publish? like a rough Ballpark guesstamate?
A lot, roughly every minute of video takes 1 hour to edit on average, so that's about 6 hours of editing, the recipe was cooked twice on video and a few times off-camera to perfect but I guess lets only count the on-camera filming, I would say about 5 hours filming the two cooks, the hardest part was getting the dynamic slow-motion shots looking over the files I have 21 slow-motion shots most of them are blurry or not in frame and after every one of those there would be little splats of sauce that needed to be cleaned up and resetting.
Then also 45min to 1 hour for video release, I send out a mass email, prep the text, make the thumbnail.
so about 12 hours for work, not including pre-test cooking.
The picture in the thumbnail is made of 5 pics stacked together in photoshop using macro photography techniques so the chicken is perfectly in focus but the background is blurry... maybe I put too much effort in that considering its a small pic that no-one can even appreciate.
here is a bigger version still not full res but easier to see: image.shutterstock.com/z/stock-photo-chicken-wing-lollipops-with-sticky-barbecue-sauce-on-blue-and-white-plate-and-blurry-lights-1573430089.jpg

I think you meant "gochoojang" not Kimchi. Kimchi is the fermented cabbage. Love your channel!
Its “kimchi no moto” kimchi base sauce, thinner than gochoojang
@@MakeSushi1 oh, ok. Thank you.
@@ddoddori and finish with a touch of gochugaru.
This is an important thread, while looking up kimchi all I found was the fermented cabbage stuff. Thanks for the clarification.
you're right it is quite important, I edited the description to make it easier to find, the specific sauced used is: "Momoya Base kimchee (sometimes called kimchi)" also here is a link that works in most of the world: geni.us/kimchi

July shit, 2.5 hours were totally worth it! Thx man ♥️
Great video, your technique of making the "lollipop" seems more sound than just leaving the skin on the outside.
Dude we're doing a chicken wings contest with friends and you're my secret weapon. However I'll do my own take on the sauce
*Lollipops for the win!*
Can you provide some details on the skillet? Great looking recipe, can't wait to try. Thanks.
I cant find the same model online, I bought it in carrefour grocery store, it was of the same brand as this one just a bit deeper like a wok: geni.us/infinitychefswok
insanely good none stick, make sure to never scrub it but lightly clean it to preserve the non stick

Hi there, thanks for good episodes.. What is the WOK manufactorer that you are using on induction? Is it good quality that lasts?
UUps, missed that you had it in description :-)

Also try making Indian style chicken lollipop. They taste amazing too!
cheers
👍
Can Kim chi paste be substituted?
The 2 1/5 T of soy sauce was omitted from the marinade recipe. I do not eat chicken, but might have to try this, maybe with fish!
yes you are right, fixed it!
thank you Jeri :)
These are best chicken things I've ever put in my mouth x37, almost came

Can u do something simmilar without having to play so much with the chicken? It really does look good
Shame the type if oil to use isn't mentioned and how to figure out to get the oil to the right temperature 😕 my first lot completely burned the outside and not quite cooked the inside. At the end I added all the chicken at once and that solved the problem. Trial and errors I guess.
The hardest part of this recipes is to find a place to store all that frying oil after you are done frying the chicken wings/lollypops until you decide to use it again. I wouldn't forgive myself if I had to dump it after the cooking, I am that stingy.
You can get a small home fryer helps store the oil for next time, I have 2 but thought it would be good for people that don’t have fryers to see how to make these.
Can we cook the chicken in the oven?
You could, it would be different but you definitely could
ahahahahaa onöy one left so i had to eat that one. hahahah
Sticky kimochi
😋
🤤🤤🤤😍😍😍🍗
Almost all foods are corpses of different living things.
they are called "Elrons"
Never heard them called that, even did a google search and they don’t come up... are you sure?
Tatsy ....
Super tasty
1st!!! 🍺🍺🍺
Thank you for being enthusiastic about watching my video first 😁👍
How To Make Sushi My pleasure. 😊. Blessing from Singapore 🇸🇬 ❄️🎄❄️🎄
I'm totally against using sweeteners in savoury food. It is simply cheating. Anything sweetened up will taste good include the leather soles of your shoes.
I would have to disagree, it would hard to make the sole of your shoe taste good by just adding some sugar.... all jokes aside, your tung has 5 flavor zones (sweet, salty, bitter, umami, sour) striking a balance with your food and having a little of each of those will make any dish stand out, its not cheating but rather hitting all the requirements.
Then another argument can be made for other sensory experiences during eating like fatty/texture/spicy.
Also lets not forget other aspects like aroma, all of the things above combine to give you your eating experience missing out a key element like sweetness will make a dish feel slightly lacking in some way.
@@MakeSushi1
If it is used to add or alter the other flavours then I can agree with you, but if it is there for its sweetness then that is just playing on the human universal liking of sweet things.
Sweet and sour pork for me is inedible. You might as well fashion it into a cake and call it a cake. It's a con anyway, there is no sourness to it, it's sickly sweet.
BTW, great video I'll be doing these senza sweetness.😋😁
Skin inside? Sounds terrible : O
You would think so, but its actually very good, give it a try just like in the recipe you will be pleasantly surprised
WTF are people getting lasy to eat chicken as well
Way overcooked bro.
