Prosperity was all promised concerning Ishmael as outlined in the ancient Jewish scriptures, but salvation from sin only comes through the blood sacrifice of Jesus and his resurrection. Despite how both the Israelis and Arabs rejected Jesus, his coming had been clearly promised and inphatically prophosied hundreds of times in the Jewish scriptures. The 2 biggest may be Daniel 9 and Isaiah 53. Jesus' work was also symbolized in the ancient texts, which the Jews discredit, the same ones that foretold the prosperity of the Arab nations. One interesting foreshadow of the Christ was the sheep caught in the thicket when Abraham took Issac to sacrifice him before God, something Ishmael would have been happy with. But God stopped Abraham and provided a sheep caught in the thicket for sacrifice. Although the Jews still reject Jesus, his coming came through the wretched descendants of Issac, not of Ishmael. God did this because his salvation is not based on heritage or works, but the grace of God alone. To reject Jesus is to attempt to approach God on one's own sinful merit.

Indeed, he will return, and those who carry a cross for his sake will be free from such. But, this isn't about his cross; it is about his saving blood. Are you washed in the blood of Jesus? Are you cleansed from your sin, white as snow? Or do you presume because you adhere to ritualistic decrees such as not eating pork or not having a cross that the same sinful nature that plagues all humans hasn't also infected you. Tell me you've never, lied. Never had evil thoughts at the sight of a woman. Never stole anything. Never smoked or helped others get cigarettes. Never thought of hurting another person. Always stopped to help a stranded motorist.

Every weekends I used to visit a massive area of hydrophonics of tomato plantations run by Saudi-American couple. Dates plantations are very common produce which are the sweetest I ever tasted. Sheep herds are very popular managed by the Bedouins . The Saudi government encouraged the locals by paying each head of animals and every date trees as incentives thru the banks assistance like SAAB. Basically what they are doing is making artificial oasis at a large scale. Water recycling is also very important for a country like Saudi Arabia. Its such a finite resource that the best thing to do are these practices. MBS is smart in doing this. While I still believe oil will play a major role in the future with the onset of electric cars the best the prince can do is diversify the countries economy. This transformation happened almost a 2 to 3 decades back.I grew up as a child in Riyadh. The weather was very dry. Now Riyadh is becoming a little humid due to frequent rains and plenty of trees grown in the city. They have rulers who care for the welfare of the people.
When the economy was strong and populations was less around 1970's to 80's the King lavished money on the people. They didn't have to work at all. Those were glorious days. Land of milk and honey.

With so much money at their finger tips, they can use technology to their advantage and are open to diversification and adaption and using human resources which are inclusive of their existing farmers. Every possible field of assistance is utilised and improved and expanded; a vision made into reality. Other countries can try to emulate Saudi Arabia instead of crying poor all the time. This is the last country that should be playing Russian Roulette with their farmland where despite a looming demographics decline it will still have insufficient farmland to feed their people.

This article stated that Saudi Arabia is self-sufficient agriculturally. But it failed to mention that Saudi Arabia is using Arizona water to grow alfalfa to feed their cattle. Why do they need to do this if they have so much water? Arizona cannot afford the water to spare for this. We do not have the extensive aquifer to rely on, and our limited groundwater supplies are being used not for our citizens' benefit, but to grow alfalfa that is then shipped to Saudi Arabia. How is that self-sufficient?

Why? They do it because they demand alfalfa for their cattle but have outlawed the growing of said crop in Saudi Arabia. It's too 'water intensive'. Perhaps not great planning on their part if they do want to be self sufficient, you're correct. And AZ is an idiot with very lax water laws, which is how this happened. (No offense to you, personally, just your state.) GL with getting them out now that the land is leased with unlimited water draw. Seriously, good luck.

Islamic scriptures says that when end of time is near, you will see an Arab bedouin is competing on building the tallest building, Arabian desert will become fertile, women will outnumber men in population, women will wear cloths yet will look naked, women will stop having children. Yes sure it is your bible mate, only the very first Bible was from God, but over time, it has been changed by humans to suit their worldly lives, hence God didn't preserve it unlike Quran, God has vowed to preserve it, that's why Quran is same letter by letter as it was revealed initially, so Quran is from God and it is his words preserved until end of humanity. Quran doesn't have contradiction and today's science is agreeing with Quran on certain scientific issues such as embryology, bigbang creation of stars, water cycle, shape of the earth as ostrich egg, light of the moon as borrowed etc revealed 1400yrs ago which science has discovered now.

Like I said Bible has contradictions, you just provided me the evidence, the name Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 was established in 1932 prior to that, the region was called Hijaz and Najd. "Arabah" is plural form of Arab and it is referred to the people not territory. The people are Arabs and they have tribes and sub tribes, like Quraish, Hashim etc.

China massively imports agricultural products from the USA and none from Saudi Arabia if not crude oil.
The USA has more greener desert areas than Saudi Arabia.
It's also surprising that an Indian channel cites the USA scientists as those shocked by this low technology project in Saudi Arabia and not Iranian countries or Egyptian scientists or Israeli scientists or French scientists or even their own Indian scientists.
