Btw you're my favourite youtuber since I love magical worlds like WoW or Middle earth, and you do a great job of telling stories and make nice enjoyable cinematics. Keep up
I'd imagine that when the tauren joined the Orcs and their Horde, the orcs were pleased in a way that they finally found a worthy enemy to find, that is, the centaurs, since every other enemy for them until that point was insignificant and cut down like grass, even the humans they raided before that. A notable thing for a race that is born of war, the orcs hunger for it, to shove axes into enemy skulls, but most importantly, an enemy that can put up a fight, not weaklings.
@Sightless_Seeker Quite false, to say the least. The world they lived in is precisely why orcs have always been war like, that and their titanic origins. Draenor was a land where everything wanted to kill you on every turn. The orcs you are referring to are the spiritual type, shamans even, or some random survivors, but most of the orcish culture revolves around war and fighting, without it they wither away eventually. Their inner bloodlust, as shown in the Lords of War series, which they need to keep in check at all times, stands as evidence of their true nature. Lust for war and slaughter is in their very blood, it's just that over time, they learned to pacify that lust. Look at alternatre Draenor, they were never influenced by demons yet still possess the bloodlust, the thirst for blood, they enjoy pain as well as inflicting it. Clans like Frostwolves are the result of keeping that all in check, and even so they hunger for battle, they have a deep desire to spill blood.
The ruins are actually quel'dorei (ancient elves) structures from the last Quel'dorei empire that ruled over much of the zone that is now known as Kalimdor. 10000 years ago, before the Sundering of the continent, there was just one huge continent on Azeroth and this was ruled by a great elven empire in the west and many troll clans in the east. The elven ruins that you see are from the elven empire that used to stretch all the way from Winterspring in the north to Feralass in the south. The elven empire fell during the events of the War of the Ancients when a faction of the old elven empire destroyed the Well of Eternity in order to stop Sargeras, the demonic titan, to walk into our world. After the explosion of the well, he continent tore in half and the elven empire was no more. The faction that defeated the demonic invasion and destroyed the well of eternity became the Night Elves and decided to become peace loving, tree hugging hippies so they do not become corrupted with dreams of power once again. Check out the War of the Ancients if you want to know more about what happened 10000 years ago.
I don't think the centaur are that powerful on their own, the reason the Tauren were driven to near extinction is that the centaur were just too numerous.

Have you done something to this video? The only video on this platform I can't change size and resolution.
Nice. I'm one of the weirdos who like Desolace so this video is a treat.
Weirdly enough one of the zones I remember leveling in most during Vanilla. There, Westfall, STV, and Red Ridge
@@DawnsRage I have fond memories of leveling in Desolace during Vanilla as well.

Thank you man, really appreciate it. :)
Cenarius banged that.... Holy fucking shit no wonder Grom killed him so easily Cenarius must be blind!
It wasn't Cenarius it was his son Zaetar, however I used the art work of Cenarius as I couldn't find appropriate one of Zaetar.
@@Doronsmovies oh thanks. I was a bit confused. Still this is weird as hell no sane creature would tap that.
Desolace is my favorite zone with centaurs in it.
Technically wouldn't Theradras only be able to truly be killed within Deepholm? It's interesting that Blizzard missed that small detail.
Ya but remember some things can be killed normally even with their tie still their. Litches for example. That and also dark magic but that’s cheating
Thank you for your content Doron! Always there to give me something to watch before i go to sleep, XD.
Glad you like it. :)
Such an underrated zone! Great video Doron
Please make a video about the Scarlet Crusade (lore, origin etc)
I'm still waiting on that Pandaria starting zone lore video
i think everyone secretly loves desolace this was a cool insight

Ocrs got their asses kicked by humans. What are you talking about?
I always wondered about this.
I always thought the ruins were night elf structures.

So the centaur have the power of the Earth and nature...
No wonder the tauren have a hard time facing them and needed the horde to defeat them..
I don't think the centaur are that powerful on their own, the reason the Tauren were driven to near extinction is that the centaur were just too numerous.
