In this video, Brendan and Robin demonstrate three different ways of setting up Pro Tools to stream audio both to a remote connection and back into Pro Tools using the Sessionwire application and Sessionwire plugins.
Sessionwire recommends using the first setup explained - simply placing the Sessionwire Send plugin on a Master Fader channel of any Pro Tools session will allow for audio to be streamed to the remote connection.
Leaving the Sessionwire application's settings in their default state will also allow for remote audio to be streamed straight out of a playback device without having to use the Sessionwire Receive plugin.
A more advanced setup at the end of the video should only be used if the user does not have a webcam or must route all Talkback audio in and out of Pro Tools - HDX systems most often require this setup.

Does the Talkback plugin (not the separate send or receive) do both on one channel instead of needing two?
It does! If you insert it on a mono Aux or track, it will both send and receive the Talkback stream - set the input to your microphone channel and the output to your system output (bypassing the Send plugin via routing if possible to avoid feedback loops)

Excellent question! Have you had a chance to dig into Sessionwire at all? Tried inserting the Send plugin on your Master fader?
What the heck plugin search pop up was that!?????
In newer versions of Pro Tools you can immediately type in the name of the plugin you want to find and it searches your plugin list! Very handy!
Why was your talkback send feeding back into pro tools
Hi there! Can you expand on what you mean? We demonstrated routing all talkback in and out of Pro Tools for users who have HDX systems where Sessionwire won't see the Avid drivers when using Pro Tools.
