Hey I’m Kal! Living a life of travel and adventure all while taking the road less traveled, BUT there’s a twist! I have a close-knit little family that manages to fit into our tiny home on wheels, and this pivotal step has helped us begging to learn and live together in a short school bus conversion we built from the ground up. This truly formed our commitment to this unconventional, yet ‘true to us’ lifestyle. We’re on a mission to fully embrace life on the road, and we do! But as our dreams kept growing bigger, so did our need for space. That's when the idea of converting a full-size school bus emerged as the perfect solution! It’s been a wild ride to get here, but we can’t wait to this journey with you as we get back to life on the road. Join me as share the highs, lows, and endless inspirations of our Skoolie conversion adventure, all while dancing my way through it!

hey you're too kind, and this message has been the sweetest ive received yet. truly- thank you. we definitely have our moments, where it all feels a little too much, but the day our son was born we vowed to make every single moment beautiful. and so we continue on that path every day. we are SO grateful for this little life we've built, but sharing it is SO new. before this, we traveled the country in a short bus, and now that we've gained a little more confidence in ourselves and this lifestyle, so its been so special share. comments like this make it all worth it! we have market baskets close to where we built the bus, so theres a good chance you'll on the road see us as we leave the west. if you need anything, im always here. thank you friend!

@@Alsokal if you and the bus ever make it thru Columbus Ohio hit me up! Our family owns a pizza shop and we have lots of grandkids! We also stay the summer in a private campground(if you say you're my niece you can join for $100 a year and rent a weekend spot with water and electricity for $50 a weekend!)

the takeaways, never underestimate the "shake out run", backup cameras are a necessity, and so are dash cameras, praise the good shops on the socials and let everybody know where they're at and criticize the bad shops,.., and never say goodbye always say see you later . most importantly, you can never have enough peanut butter in the pantry, and duct tape can save your life, Amen

I find it a bit weird how the bus has a flat front, like a European design but the engine is also in front...
In Europe most busses, or better, all modern busses have the engine in the rear so the driver doesn't get all the vibrations and noise all day
its definitely different than anything we're use to as well! its so wild!
