Significance of Raven, where the roundabout is near the light railway, is called Raven square. The railway used to go all the way through the town to Welshpool station at the bottom of Severn Street. (Severn street named after the River Severn, the one you couldn’t find the name of)

Stop at Welshpool on way to Greenacres in Porthmadog and been 4 times for day out Lovely Area
The "river" is actually "Black Brook".
I'm moving to welshpool from Norwich in a few months, I hope the people don't treat me bad just because I'm an outsider
