Im from Italy,Afghanistan Is a very beautiful country full of different cultures and traditions ,i hope one day It will become more touristy and can be visited without problems
I have been living in Norway for the past 19yrs and I dont see any kind of hospitable people here at all. There are no hospitable people in this world than Afghans. Even we got 40yrs of war, still BIG in heart and share our table! Hope you enjoy every second of your time and god bless you! Next time, go to Wakhan!👍
Thanks so much Emma! Your vlog from chicken street brought back beautiful memories from many many years ago. Can’t wait to see more of your amazing travel videos from Afghanistan. ❤️🥰
So much fun memories of chicken street…. back in the days, this was such a famous street… and it seemed so wide and long… used to walk on this street every day going to Malalai school….

I love my beautiful Country Afghanistan ❤️ and thank you for visiting our beautiful country and sharing the beauty and beautiful culture of our country Afghanistan
The people , history and geography of Afghanistan is a real Gem just like their beautiful expensive stones. legend and legit deal . My heartaches for the betrayal of the many outsider countries like US, Russia, Nato etc who had proper agenda's to destroy this beautiful country , of course they were not there to build or fight for them instead looted, filled their pockets and exited . Live Long Afghanistan
The artifacts are beautiful. Thanks for sharing your experience in Afghanistan and your courage to visit my motherland. Be safe and enjoy the rest of your journey! 🙏🙏🙏
I remember randomly learning about the hippie trail as a teen & thinking i had a past life there lol. I hope I can go to Afghanistan & buy a couple dresses! 💖🌟🤩 Thank you for making this video, Emma!
I loved Ahmad’s shop of antiques. ❤ I could spend all day in there, looking at everything. A carved wooden piece, leaning against a wall, caught my eye. So many beautiful things. Lapis Lazuli was everywhere! It’s one of my favorite stones. I saw a few things I want. 😂

Dear Emma, it is wonderful to be able to experience impressions of my father's homeland through you. Unfortunately, I have not yet been to Afghanistan. But I would like to give you one piece of advice, which I learned in my early childhood: when shopping, you always have to negotiate. It is almost an insult in Afghanistan if you don't do it! The bracelet for 10$ should have cost maybe 5$ in the end 😉😅 Good luck and all the best! Best regards from Germany 🇩🇪
Maybe she didn't want to bargain because people in Afghanistan are poor and 5$ or 10$ is not a big difference for us but it is a lot of money for people in Afghanistan
Hi Emma! I have recently, join your UA-cam channel and watched your great videos especially, Video from kabul, Afghanistan be safe. I used to lived there before this regime there were a lot of women walking around the chicken street and they could able to shopping but, now I saw no ladies there that it self gives message of this regime restrictions on women 😞. Hope you be safe back to your destination. Regards Amiri !

Hey Emma, you are doing such a great job and thanks for visiting Afghanistan. But please get good guides, your both guides neither have knowledge of places and their history nor have good command of English. If you wish I can help you whenever you visit north Afghanistan. Lots of love
how did you get visa to Afghanistan.. did you get it from Pakistan.. am sure there is no direct flights there.. love you sense of adventure brining this beautiful land and people to everyone.
Hi Emma you don’t need paper work at all - Visa is enough. Just get in car and travel - the reason government wants you to let them know is for your security so they make sure you be ok.
Three points. First, someone should sponsor that youth that speaks 10 languages, he'll have an amazing future, such as a professor and help many others. Second, those Afghan dresses are $2,000 $20,000 each in America. Third, something to think about, each one of those people have dozens of their family members murdered through war including parents but somehow can keep an authentic smile on their face more than anyone in the West while the Western youth with everything commit suicide out of depression; an interesting psychological point. Plus, they're still nice. Afghanistan is the metaphysical heartbeat of the world, we need to be in harmony with it and learn their beliefs, otherwise, everyone suffers if we try to control it. It's a stallion built to be free. We can just help them become more economically stable if more people can invest in them.
Hello Emma, please go to Badakhshan Province, Afghanistan 🇦🇫 there is the Wakhan Corridor and there live the Wakhi (Nomad) people. Many tourists visited there.
I’m trying to get to places but the paperwork is becoming a nightmare! I’m still stuck in Kabul ! Paperwork took a day , then each province I have to visit 3 departments for more paperwork! Another day … it took 2 days to get paperwork/ permission to travel to another province … I need an interpreter to accompany me… I’m going back to try and talk again as nobody will come here if they have to spend days doing paperwork! I have a visa 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ kinda stuck right now …
@@WanderingEmma dont worry too much, Afghans really don't care that much about paperwork and just go haha. As a guest, even the taliban won't create problems for you
