Hear me out, they said the companions were romanceable and didn't mention the advisors. Last game we could romance 2 of 3 advisors. I'm still holding onto my romance Varric delusion for a tiny bit more 😅

I'm sorry, but can someone explain to me why they/them in a game is such an amazing addition?
@magneticanomaly810 Were happy for people to be able to customize their character the way they want them. A very vast amount of people who play bioware games. Those that are really hard-core bioware lovers, skew towards being women and those in the LGBTQIA+ community. We're happy that they get to be included now.
World is rough in real life. It's good to give people something that makes them feel apart of this world even if it's something small like this.
@@BaronSitzkrieg right, but the resources used (time and money) to include they/them in dialogue and cutscenes throughout the entire game could've been used for something much more important, and I'm sure people will agree when the game comes out and are inevitably disappointed with certain aspects of the game. It's just kind of a silly thing to celebrate I think. Nothing wrong with he/her, but thanks for elaborating.
@magneticanomaly810 TO each their own, my friend. I think it's a good thing to celebrate. Even though it's small.
I also don't think the changing of pronouns is taking away or casuing features to be cut. Changing a word or 2 in sentences that have already written? I doubt it's draining the bank or adding much time.
I'd also add that no matter what there's gonna be people disappointed in the game. It's been 10 years since the last release and every time a dragon age game releases there is a crowd who's screaming disappointment and anger over how the game has changed because origins and 2 are nothing alike and inquisition isn't like either. It's gonna happen no matter what. But people will choose to blame something as miniscule as pronouns because they were never going to like the game in the first place.
That's just my opinion however. As long as the story and characters are well written and acted then I'm happy and that's all that matters to me. And I believe they will be.

"you can choose they/them pronouns now! so inclusive!!!" I am not a "they/them" pronouns user. Not all nonbinary people use "they/them" pronouns. The three genders aren't "she/her", "he/him" and "they/them". Treating nonbinary as a blanket third gender where everyone uses "they/them" pronouns is incredibly reductive and not actually helpful to the nonbinary community.
