- Neil Treacy is joined by Jonny Holland and Johne Murphy on this week's RTÉ Rugby podcast, as we look ahead to Leinster's Investec Champions Cup final against Toulouse (9:20).
Among the game's talking points, Holland and Murphy analyse how Leinster will plan to deal with Toulouse captain and scrum-half Antoine Dupont, but also how they can't forget about the rest of the French side's threats (26:40)
We look back on Ulster's win over Leinster in the BKT United Ruby Championship (35:06), and particularly John Cooney's mettle shown to kick the game-winning penalty.
Holland and Murphy also pay tribute to their former Munster team-mate Simon Zebo, who will retire at the end of the season (40:00), while discussing Connacht's defeat at the hands of the Stormers (46:15).

If they do a 6-2 you have to start Connors as he's not an impact player to bring off the bench, he's an all round defensive player while Van Der Flier offers a lot on and off the ball
Third time's the charm. Rooting for you fellas 🇮🇪🇮🇪🤝🇿🇦🇿🇦🔵⚪️
Well done lads , solid comments all round . Leinster tactics have paid off to get iinto the final . Leinster now know the final is a one game so can plan much easier . As a result of that I think Leinster are ahead of the pack before the start , but the final is now down to who played the smarter rugby . On this occasion Leinster will win . I dont mind if it's one point or ten .
Come on the boys in blue .
Wow Patrick, you're some pundit !
If we lose this final then a conversation with Cullen needs to happen. Thanks Leo but its best to part ways here. 1 trophy in 14 years. Let's hope we win on sat so!!!
He's lucky not to have got the bullet last year, unforgivably bad management. Team were not match fit and tactically naiive
Joe Mac and Lowe will be rusty, not having played since the Northampton game. Its a huge game. Win and maybe they go on to do the double. Lose and it will be a summer of recriminations.
I assume it was James Ryan made the decision to go for the corner. I remember him also deciding to take 3 for Ireland against France in Paris when they would have been better off going for a try and the lead. I don't like his decision making as a captain.
Funny how Toulouse choosed its faster players to play those athletic men in blue. I expect less kicking balls from Leinster in the middle field. What a defense Toulouse needs... What an opposition.
Good to hear that Ulster's new coach is getting a bit of credit!
No red cards please. Not in a final
If it's merited then definitely yes a red card
Will the game be live on RTÉ?
Neil, try being a girl who knows something about rugby. Even in conversations I’m involved in I still have to listen to people who are just plain wrong.
You would never have played the first choice front row against Ulster or Doris or Gibson park ! But rest of them yes you could
Zeboooo
If Prendergast was any good he would be ahead of the Byrne brothers by now who are crap.
Incredibly boring podcast
Another munster rugby podcast
Leinster favourites? I don't think so. 2 finals lost the Irish WC flop and we are the favourites? Thankfully the french are similarly bad chokers so maybe that will win it for us
Bad chokers ? That's now 9 finals played, 9 finals won since 2008; I bet Leinster would kill to be that kind of chokers 🤣
@@mahasamatman12 Read the text genius I said FRENCH not TOULOUSE
It's only Wednesday and
