Just informing you guys, you should never compare any group to be completely honest. Both of these groups are very very different, they both work hard but Blackpink is in YG entertainment, which is one of the big 3 entertainment companies in Korea so they had it a bit more easy than BTS (but they still have worked INSANELY hard) , and BTS who came from a company near bankruptcy. Another thing is music wise they are VERY different and you should never compare a groups music to one another. BTS also do have a massive part in the production and lyrics of their songs that you guys may not of knew. Recently Jennie and Jisoo (2 of the members from Blackpink) had a part in producing for their latest comeback ‘Lovesick Girls’ you should react to that music video from Blackpink. You guys should really watch ‘BTS’ Hardships’ video.
Hi, I am an army first and foremost, and I understand loving BTS and being protective when people might unknowingly assume they had it easy or their experiences are comparable to any other K-pop artist out there. However, I think in trying to defend BTS you are also trying to put down Blackpink and that is unfair. I am not trying to start anything at all, but I wish we could all become a bit more considerate of other artists and their experiences as well. We shouldn't have to put others down in order to elevate our favorites. Remember that while you might not enjoy Blackpink (or any other artist) the same way you enjoy BTS, music and art are subjective and others absolutely love and adore Blackpink and their music. As a fan of any group, it's inconsiderate and insensitive having to read comments putting other artists down. BTS preaches loving ourselves and one another, overcoming hardships, and coming together as human beings and I am sure they wouldn't appreciate their fans trying to put other artists down especially artists trying to promote Kpop the same way that they are. We should be cheering for all other Kpop artists that are trying to make a name for themselves and trying to get a spotlight on Kpop, the same way BTS have been trying to do so for many years. Also, while Blackpink probably did have it easier in terms of coming from a well-established company, and while their lyrics and music might not be what you consider "deep," they also most definitely faced struggles especially as women in such a harsh industry. I wish that as women we could empower each other and be happy for successful women everywhere around the world and not judge them when they have it "easier" than others. Finally, I hope you don't take this the wrong way, and while I understand comparisons are frustrating also be patient and understanding that these reactors meant no harm by comparing since clearly, they are not aware of how some things work in the Kpop industry. I hope there will come a point in which we can be proud of all Kpop artists even if they are not BTS because that's what BTS has preached all along. Let's all be better and kinder to each other, please.
@@beubiueniwn8317 My whole point with that comment is that we shouldn't compare struggles. Nobody has the right to invalidate someone else's struggles just because someone else has struggled more. Additionally, my whole point was that pitting artists against other artists is wrong. BTS has struggled and deserve everything they have because they have worked immensely hard to be where they are, but we shouldn't have to compare their struggles or work with other artists to elevate them. We can support and uplift BTS without having to be dismissive of other artist's work and struggles.
@@crmrm4135 hi I just saw this comment and I’d like to say, was was never intending to bring Blackpink down by this comment & I know just how hard Blackpink work and that yes they have also went through hardships themselves and how much people did tear them down (like the Jennie incident). I was just trying to state that it was unfair to compare them two groups if you know what i mean? And like I said in my comment I am a fan of Blackpink and most of their music and I do really love some of the lyrics in their songs such as ‘You Never Know’ and I also loved the last comeback they had and thought ‘Lovesick Girls’ was really great and shown how much better the company is getting to let them change up a lot and have more inside to what they are doing as I’m pretty sure Jennie and Jisoo got to help with the making of that song? And that YG has a new CEO now it seems to look a lot better for Blackpink. But yes I do agree with the points u wrote down, and I really wasn’t trying to tear them but their is a massive difference between the two groups from the beginning and still I think it’s unfair to compare any group tbh. But yeah I’m sorry about that and I really did not intend to pull them down I was trying to show them a few of the differences between the groups
@@livvyyyys So glad you took the time to reply to clear the misunderstanding. I also do apologize if it seemed like I was being overly harsh, I have just gotten so used to seeing some people criticizing Blackpink every time someone unknowingly compares them to BTS. Again, I am an Army but it saddens me to see other Armys so readily to bring others down in order to defend BTS. And I think you understood exactly the point that I was trying to make! I think it is unfair and unnecessary to compare two different artists and essentially pit them against each other, especially artists from the same underrated industry that are trying to shine a light on Kpop internationally. Additionally, I think the whole Jennie incident recently has also kept me on edge by noticing how incredibly unfair the double standard is in the industry and not just in South Korea but everywhere around the world. I really hope both Blackpink and BTS can continue to bring new and better music and achieve the bigger success both groups are looking for and that all fandoms would try to support their favorite artists without it having to become a popularity or "success" (whatever that means to them) contest. And finally, that we don't judge others for having different preferences when it comes to music or art, sure deep lyricism with positive messages are fantastic and the reason why BTS has made it so big, but I hope we don't put artists down either that are trying to simply make feel-good music that might not necessarily carry any other message other than enjoyment because that kind of artist is just as important and as necessary in the industry. In any case, thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my message, and once again I apologize if it seemed like I was overly harsh. One downside to reading messages through a screen is that often the tone of the message is lost and we tend to interpret it differently from what the author probably intended, and I feel this was the case here. I must have assumed you were being overly critical of Blackpink in order to defend BTS and I apologize for assuming that after reading your comment. Hope you are having a wonderful day!
They did this performance during their World Tour. I just finished watching their Netflix documentary, BLACKPINK Light Up The Sky. In that documentary, they did explain a lot about how much tolls the World Tour have on their bodies and their health (both mental and physical). They got injured and sick many times during their World Tour but they continue to performed non-stop. In the BLACKPINK Light Up The Sky documentary, Jisoo mention that she got very sicked during their performance at the Coachella. They did their performance at the Coachella a few weeks after this performance. In between the time, they did these two performances, they didn't stop to take any break to rest and heal because they were performing live at other places too. It is possible that one of them got sick around this time period. Maybe, not just one member that got sick. BLACKPINK are the type of artists that would perform live even if they are sick or injured. Jennie🎤🎶: But you’ll never know unless you walk in my shoes. You’ll never know my tangled string. ‘Cause everybody see what they want to see. It is easier to judge me than to believe. They also edited out the fanchants.
