Thank you for always reacting to Dimash. I truly believe that all of his songs are incredibly wonderful, and for me, some of them hit harder than others. I’m not sure if the other Dears will agree (but I think they will), is that some songs and stories will always take a special place in your heart. Like the first or second song you heard, etc. In my case, and I believe that many will agree, is that you start focusing less on his incredible voice range, but instead, you get pulled in by his emotions, the story he’s telling, and what a genuinely humble, people loving, “going my way” mentality, courage and “goofiness”. He’s never afraid to try out new things, and he’s more interested in delivering a message to the world than making lots of money in the mainstream music world. There are other songs that we would like you to react to as well, but maybe after discovering a bit more about the many different styles he is challenging himself with. Someone mentioned Be With Me, the music video. If you ever have a time to listen to it, please do. I loved your expression at the end. It said to us, “That’s our boy.” On his English..the Dears say he speaks “Dinglish” and we love it. You heard it it in The Ultimate Guide to Dimash when he says, “It’s she’s birthday.” Or “It needs singing more loudly, please.” It is adorable and makes our hearts melt. That said, his English has gotten much better over the years. He sings in at least 15 languages and I am sure he has an accent in all of them except Russian and Kazakh.

Hi, I really appreciate your comments and in this last video you comment on the pronunciation of Dimash, it's true what you say about the English language, as I feel some imperfections in the Italian one, but there are two things to consider, one that his mother tongue is Russian or similar, therefore very far from ours and the other one which has improved quite a bit over time, these are part of the almost first performances, listen to it now and you will see that you will hear a very different pronunciation... I don't want to offend you... but your UA-cam channel name suggests to me, that you unfortunately had to experience war in your life... ...I wanted to warn you a little in advance, because the MV has some very hard scenes with war and death ... not that you get triggered and have problems afterwards. I don't want this to open up old wounds for you. It is a wonderful, overwhelming work, very complex, exceptionally well thought out and with a wide range of voices and amazing acting by Dimash. I honestly wish it had a PTSD trigger warning from the beginning. I saw several war veteran reactors get triggered, although the ones who posted did force themselves to finish.
It triggered me and I am innocent in terms of war. I still cannot watch it very often. I avoid watching it to be honest. I might watch it if a loved reactor reacts to it, but not otherwise.
Thank you for the “warning”. I think it’s a valid advice, because no one gave me a heads up before I watched what would be yet another beautiful song (which it is, of course). I was not mentally prepared and couldn’t rewatch it again for a while.

She was not English, I think she came from somewhere in Eastern Europe, and I suspect she had seen some horrific things in her past and she got very triggered. It was awful to see. Although I had not requested her do it myself, I felt guilty for being part of the Deardom that did this to her. This is why it's very important to always warn people in advance of watching the MV. It is NOT to be done lightly. We must think of others always, and be careful for them because they cannot know what they are in for. And if they have been in a war torn country, lost their loved ones, seen awful things, they may find it too much. I have not suffered such things, I feel so lucky to have been brought up in peacetime, but I cannot watch parts of the MV without crying. Imagine what it must do to those who have buried their memories with difficulty, so that they can function. It is not up to us to open their box for them. We must give them a warning, so they can choose.

You are so correct about Dimash hesitating before he begins to sing. I don't know about before, but, I noticed it when he first appeared on " Singer 2017", he always seems to prepare himself emotionally and mentally for each song. That is how he can bring you into whatever it is he's singing and feel the song. I am still waiting for the right words to be created to describe his music. A request or suggestion: Please watch not only the music video for “Story of one Sky”, but also the legendary live version of the Almaty Concert premiere in 2019: Almaty Concert Part 3 (starts at approximately 23:20 with Dimash‘s spoken prologue). Professional multicam with good audio and video quality, there are some fancam versions but not in good quality. In my opinion the mesmerizing passion and Dimash‘s emotional "breakdown" at the end, along with heartbreaking background images, surpass even the music video version. In my opinion, even more attention can be paid to the fundamental and universal message. In the video, the depiction of an individual fate distracted me a bit. Another Kudaibergen-Krutoy collaboration, and I think this is the one where the lyrics were written by Lara Fabian. That delay before he begins also helps to build the anticipation. 😊 Most viewers will focus on the soaring crescendo, but for me a part that really stands out is near the beginning on the line “… feed our souls” - I don’t know the proper musical terminology, but I love the way he goes what I call “tone-less” on that line.

Le lingue che usa nelle canzoni sono andate migliorando negli anni. Anche in SOS cantato in The Singer il francese è abbastanza osceno. Anche in Passione alcune parole di italiano sono pronunciate con suoni che in italiano non si usano. Ma naturalmente si perdona Dimash che fa comunque uno sforzo estremo. Non dimentichiamo che con noi occidentali non ha nemmeno l'alfabeto in comune. Per me è impossibile riprodurre il russo o il kazako.❤ ❤❤❤
Dimash's english is improving all the time. His first languages are kazak and russian. The Chinese ard the Japanese arre very complimentry about his mandarin and Japanese. He will always have an accent (which incidentally I love). However many singers whose first language is not english have an accent. The American accent seems foreign to me at times, and the way many words are pronounced by Americans is so different from the way they are pronounced in England. Australian english is very hard to comprehend.

Yes, his English is never perfect but he really started trying to learn English after 2017 and he went from always having an interpreter to now not needing one at all. He says some words incorrectly in The Story of one Sky as well but isn't it amazing that whatever country he goes to he strives to learn at least one if not more than one song in the language of that country as a sing of respect? I am from Texas. My husband is Ukrainian /Georgian. Do you know the man corrects my English because of my Texas accent? Not to worry, I get him back when he says any word that starts with W and pronounces V instead.
Your Khazak isnt perfect, is it? The most important things to remember are the song, the performance and the sincerity, plus the absolutely amazing voice. His pronounciations dont matter nor does the language he is singing in. I have lived in the U.S. for over 50 years and have never heard any American use perfect English. But I'm used to it now.
It was a nasty trick to put lives the verb and lives the noun in the same song for a non-native speaker of English. But like his voice, his English is getting better and better.

This (Kremlin) is Dimash’s favourite venue. When Dimash performs at the Kremlin, he says he doesn't need ear-ins because the acoustics there are so excellent. (There are other videos that confirm this)

So far, Igor has composed several songs for Dimash and many songs in 30 years for Lara Fabian and other singers. Most of the songs in this concert were by him.

If you want to watch the music video for "The Story of One Sky"... Hmmm, I don't know how to say it... I don't want to offend you... but your UA-cam channel name suggests to me, that you unfortunately had to experience war in your life... ...I wanted to warn you a little in advance, because the MV has some very hard scenes with war and death ... not that you get triggered and have problems afterwards. I don't want this to open up old wounds for you.
It is a wonderful, overwhelming work, very complex, exceptionally well thought out and with a wide range of voices and amazing acting by Dimash. Even though it is a hard, brutal story that touches the heart, it is fundamentally about peace and it is definitely important to watch it several times from different aspects to understand the complex plot, the intricacies and the numerous symbolism... Dears will of course help in the comments.
Maybe my little warning is unnecessary, but I think it doesn't do any harm... and I only meant it well.

I honestly wish it had a PTSD trigger warning from the beginning. I saw several war veteran reactors get triggered, although the ones who posted did force themselves to finish.

It triggered me and I am innocent in terms of war. I still cannot watch it very often. I avoid watching it to be honest. I might watch it if a loved reactor reacts to it, but not otherwise.

@@mrychards6682 and there was a lady vocal coach who was left dreadfully distressed after a lot of people urged her to watch it. She was not English, I think she came from somewhere in Eastern Europe, and I suspect she had seen some horrific things in her past and she got very triggered. It was awful to see. Although I had not requested her do it myself, I felt guilty for being part of the Deardom that did this to her. This is why it's very important to always warn people in advance of watching the MV. It is NOT to be done lightly. We must think of others always, and be careful for them because they cannot know what they are in for. And if they have been in a war torn country, lost their loved ones, seen awful things, they may find it too much. I have not suffered such things, I feel so lucky to have been brought up in peacetime, but I cannot watch parts of the MV without crying. Imagine what it must do to those who have buried their memories with difficulty, so that they can function. It is not up to us to open their box for them. We must give them a warning, so they can choose.

Yo no conozco ningún cantante ( Americano, Inglés, etc) que, cuando canta en otro idioma, lo haga perfectamente. Yo no entiendo porqué a Dimash se le pide eso. Ahí está Nat King Cole, Elvis, Sinatra cantaron en otros idiomas y nunca se les criticó su acento. Al contrario, se les agradecía ese toque extranjero. En fin, saludos!

You are so correct about Dimash hesitating before he begins to sing. I don't know about before, but, I noticed it when he first appeared on " Singer 2017", he always seems to prepare himself emotionally and mentally for each song. That is how he can bring you into whatever it is he's singing and feel the song. I am still waiting for the right words to be created to describe his music. U should check his kazakh song "Omir Oter - official mv" meaning "life is short". If Dimash wait until he is perfect in all languages he'd never get anything done. He said he might wake up one day and lost his voice. Everything he has is god-given.

A request or suggestion: Please watch not only the music video for “Story of one Sky”, but also the legendary live version of the Almaty Concert premiere in 2019: Almaty Concert Part 3 (starts at approximately 23:20 with Dimash‘s spoken prologue). Professional multicam with good audio and video quality, there are some fancam versions but not in good quality.
In my opinion the mesmerizing passion and Dimash‘s emotional "breakdown" at the end, along with heartbreaking background images, surpass even the music video version. In my opinion, even more attention can be paid to the fundamental and universal message. In the video, the depiction of an individual fate distracted me a bit. I think the message of this part comes through even more clearly and with more impact in the live version.

Yes! I love his voice and he's phenomenal but he could use a better language coach to help him enunciate his words better. And he did say lives instead of lives. Wonder why Lara never corrected him, she wrote the song?
Le lingue che usa nelle canzoni sono andate migliorando negli anni. Anche in SOS cantato in The Singer il francese è abbastanza osceno. Anche in Passione alcune parole di italiano sono pronunciate con suoni che in italiano non si usano. Ma naturalmente si perdona Dimash che fa comunque uno sforzo estremo. Non dimentichiamo che con noi occidentali non ha nemmeno l'alfabeto in comune. Per me è impossibile riprodurre il russo o il kazako.❤ ❤❤❤

Dimash's english is improving all the time. His first languages are kazak and russian. The Chinese ard the Japanese arre very complimentry about his mandarin and Japanese. He will always have an accent (which incidentally I love). However many singers whose first language is not english have an accent. The American accent seems foreign to me at times, and the way many words are pronounced by Americans is so different from the way they are pronounced in England. Australian english is very hard to comprehend.
I noticed that you haven't seen any of his Kazakh songs yet? I'd highly recommend listening to Samaltau, Qairan Elim, Durdaraz, Elim Menin, Omir Oter, Kieli Mekin and Omir.

Yes, his English is never perfect but he really started trying to learn English after 2017 and he went from always having an interpreter to now not needing one at all. He says some words incorrectly in The Story of one Sky as well but isn't it amazing that whatever country he goes to he strives to learn at least one if not more than one song in the language of that country as a sing of respect? I am from Texas. My husband is Ukrainian /Georgian. Do you know the man corrects my English because of my Texas accent? Not to worry, I get him back when he says any word that starts with W and pronounces V instead.

Your Khazak isnt perfect, is it? The most important things to remember are the song, the performance and the sincerity, plus the absolutely amazing voice. His pronounciations dont matter nor does the language he is singing in. I have lived in the U.S. for over 50 years and have never heard any American use perfect English.
But I'm used to it now.
It was a nasty trick to put lives the verb and lives the noun in the same song for a non-native speaker of English. But like his voice, his English is getting better and better.
