For all of you freaking out about the sugar, I am sure people don't eat all of these all of the time. If you don't like the recipes then don't make them. I have made one like this and the reason you put the batter in the bottom is because it rises up through the fruit and becomes a nice crunchy topping. I know from this woman's accent alone that these recipes will be delicious. Great job!! Forget these nay-sayers.
I think this is the best food video I have seen ever because I counted you giving seven super easy, super delicious recipes... SEVEN !! You did it in the smoothest way I've ever seen anyone do a food video for multiple recipes before!! I sat down and paused and played and paused and played every desert writing them down with your channel name on my recipe cards and I thoroughly enjoying the commentary, such a relaxed family atmosphere!! I'm so glad I found this video... Your Channel !!!! Many hugs for each of your recipes.
On the apple pie filling with the crescent roll laid out on top in two layers, I think I would have baked the first layer for 10 minutes before adding the second layer, as it looked like the middle wasn't done.
I could not have eaten that. I have a thing about dough that had not been cooked completely. Making that dessert according to the given instructions sounds awful to me. Seriously gross. I have the same problem with the first recipe; placing cinnamon rolls on top of cherry pie filling. It doesn't sound appetizing to begin with, and the bottom of the rolls next to the cherries is going to be doughy and disgusting. It's inevitable.
I’ve made this before and yes the Middle layer needs to be cooked about 10 min before the top layer is added. Or cook in a bigger pan as only one layer.
You were so VERY generous with so many simple desserts, even a Slow Folk like me can now make something yummy without messing up. I just had to subscribe!!! Thank you!!! ......... I wanna 👎👎👎👎👎 those unappreciative commenters.. I mean trolls.
I really like your recipes and thanks for posting...I will have fun with these...lots to think about it looks so easy..I love the dogs just laying round. Nice...lots of love!
I learned how to make peach cobbler ages ago. Before self rising flour. 2 tbsp butter melted, 2 tsp baking powder. 2 cups each of flour sugar and milk. Place 2 cans of peaches ontop of melted butter. Mix dry ingredients and stir in milk, pour over peaches and bake for 45 minutes in a 350 degree oven. So it's basically 2 all the way around
The first dessert . . . the cinnamon rolls over the cherry pie filling . . . would have been improved by pouring some heavy whipping cream around the rolls, over the cherry filling. Then, making a slurry of brown sugar + melted butter + cinnamon + pinch of salt, and pouring that directly on top of the rolls. The rolls would have come out soft and fluffy overlying the cherry filling. Finish off with the vanilla frosting . . . or add some almond extract to the frosting before drizzling.
Thank you for all of these delicious looking recipes!! I can't wait to make them!! I have never heard of chocolate cobbler but it looks amazing!! Yum! 😊
Your Grandmother is amazing! She's also has the same white with the gold dishes I inherited from my Grandmother. Love this video and will definitely subscribe to see more.
I love you. ❤ your amazing. And you have a beautiful peaceful energy. Everything was easy and well put together. You should make many many more of these bids and give lessons yo others on how to do just what ya'll do. Great family,;) truly blessed. Thank you for sharing, so well done, bravo!
Hi Charles & Kim, how are y’all doing?? I got a new phone so I looked all over for y’all and I’m so happy to watch y’all again. Thank y’all god bless y’all.
Eu só presteu atenção foi no quanto ela gastou. Acredito que lá deve ser tudo pir um preço bom. Aqui, no Brasil, está complicado para fazer estas receitas. Que Deus continue abençoando sua despensa!
I have sat at your table now for several months and LOVE IT! Please Tom and Melissa consider doing some meal ideas that will freeze well. I love to cook but since I lost my husband a yr ago I have a time with fixing food that be frozen in containers and used again . THANK YOU. Its a real issue to try to cook and end up throwing too much away. Suzanne Mott in Hutchinson, Ks
So far I've made the Cinnamon Roll dessert and the Peach Cobbler (1 can peach pie filling and covered with layer of frozen blueberries) with cinnamon/sugar on top.... so so GOOD!!! I'll be trying the apple cressent next, I've already bought the ingredients. I've also made the Fish with RedLobster bisquits (I did forget the butter in the bisquits but poured it over it when done), and chicken dinner with mushroom gravy and ranch seasoning... Very Delicious!!! Now, I have learning and true time blindness disabilities that are significant enough that I am legally disabled due to them and haven't been able to make things like banana and zucchini bread for many years on account of the number of steps involved since I've become an older Slow Folk but these recipes are so simple and your videos are so easy to follow that I've been able to make four of them so far without someone helping me not forget any steps, although I made one recoverable mistake with the fish dinner. The peach cobbler is so good, I plan to make it for my neighbor and from now on I'll always be able to afford (on my ssi income) to make on my own a wonderful treat to bring to my hosts whenever I'm invited to lunch or dinner instead of a store bought dessert. I'm subscribed and thank you very much for the way you demonstrate your videos... keep his "commentary" , ignore/block the trolls 🩷🧁💕
You will get all of the pie filling out .of the cans if you use a rubber spatula/scraper instead of a spoon. It also will not make the horrible scratching sound. I salute you for making these with all your shortcuts.
Kroger ice cream is amazing and affordable. The strawberry has huge and mostly whole strawberries! Their ice cream is usually around 1/3 the price of big inferior brands.

As a diabetic, at least I can live vicariously... Lol

Yea the dough looked completely raw when she cut into it 😮

@kimbruner8347 could you be any more rude? Likely not. But I bet you could be a lot nicer.

I made this today, that 1st layer of cresent rolls was raw. I cooked it another 30 min.

You don't need to add baking soda with self rising flower...salt or yeast...that's why it's called SELF RISING. Looks delicious 😋
Oh boy yummy 😋
I'm loving all the sticks of butter. ❤😂
haha!
Wow! Soo creative, EASY recipes, will try them ALL slowly - 👍
All of these recipes look awesome, and quick and easy Thank you so much
That chocolate cobbler looks really good. I think I'd use coffee on the top instead of water though. I bet that would work well too. 😊

Old school my @$$, this bag, box, bottle and can. Lazy trailer cooking.
I put a pad of butter on each cinnamon roll for extra flavor and make my own frosting

Really love all your recipes.. but could do w/o his color commentary.
That is so good
Have you made it??

Is that self rising flour for the peach cobbler?
Great video !!!!
Thank you!!

Let the rolls sit for at least an hour then they'll double in size.
Maybe drain the peaches?
Good question-I was wondering the same thing 🤔

Everyone doesn't have a Kroger.

About more icing! That's, enough for one according to my specifications. Looks DELISH
Just a heads up. KROGER has Pillsbury rolls of dough B1G1F this week (starting tomorrow)...with a Loyalty Card😉
Already have their orange danish on the list! Yum!
EVERYBODY'S SO CREATIVE!
Yum! Canned food!
She cooks all those wonderful desserts and then samples them all herself instead of offering or sharing!
Don't pour cold milk into a hot cast iron pan. You will crack the pan. Warm the liquid.
Cast iron doesn't crack😂
Cast iron will Crack!!!! A cast iron skillet cracked on me several years ago.

Receipes and cooking tips...
Do you use self rising flour for the peach one or regular flour
Hi there. How you doing so far, hope you had a great day going?
She said made a mistake you need self rising flour. Bisquick works great
Oops I got to see the cooked deserts at the end. Fantastic ❤
How do I get your easy recipes? I have a hard time writing things down fast enough
