Great review. I own the special color version set, and haven't had any issues with it. But, I also don't do stop-motion work or handle it much. I'm a huge Space Godzilla fan, so had to have it.
This helped a lot, I don't have either and looking at both I have to say the original looks more color accurate to screen depiction than the bright blue of the repaint
@@ScorpioCesar the battle damage? I think I'm going to pass. Looks cool but I'm not digging the dorsal plates on that one, just the different colors doesn't translate well from film to figure. I'm just going to hunt down one of these older ones. By the time the other is on the market people will be posting their old one to pay for the new one🤭
I got the original release of Space G and I gotta say it looks more like himself in the film in comparison with the special color one. But the special color Little G is more accurate.
I love how UA-cam is recommending older videos of kaiju figures this week. HAHA! Well I missed out on both SGs, and with a neck popping off like that, it makes me wonder if NECA's last releases should have been G89 and Space G instead of G2003. NECA would have endeared themselves with the fans forever with a decently done Space G, and the neck would not have popped off either. LOL!
@@ScorpioCesar I am really saddened as I was hoping for a Showa Mothra Imago or the Battle for Earth version. I didn't get the Monsterarts version of the BAF. I didn't get Battra either. Too pricey for me at the time. I was really, really hoping they would have released a Mothra. Now their Godzillas got better looking to me when they did the 62 and 64. Those were good, and I got those two. I love the fat tails they have on those figures. They needed a better color picking choice for the 64, but I guess I could fix that myself if I got around to it. Now the 89, when I first opened that...I almost was in love with that Godzilla figure. I loved the head being rather bulbous like on top like in the movie when Goji was in the water. The size and the tail, man that tail is awesome. Great price too. I was hoping they would have done a proper Godzilla 1985 in a 2.0 version, but they didn't so I guess literally the 2.0 is the 89 since that is the direct sequel, and with that I will bow out of Godzilla figures. I got a few, and I am not going to buy any more. I am still peeved that Doughtery jacked up the sizing of the 2019 Mothra. That just doesn't work, and I don't know how or why Toho let that fly. No pun intended.
If the new Godzilla films ever get to Space Godzilla, let's hope his head stays in place 🤞 So far, I like the review. Edit: 🤣😂 I was wondering what the time stamps in the comment section were for but I wanted to enjoy the review first. Me with my girl whenever she touches my figures lol 😆
Haha thanks man, yeah, I doubt the Monsterverse will ever get to SpaceGodzilla but it'd be pretty sweet if they put their own spin on him. As long as they don't ruin him lol
If you think about the good deals for the sh things I have I was like I got mecha king gidora for 250 dollars and like that's a good deal and then u think and its 250 dollars and like that's a lot of money
Anthony Ring It is a lot of money all things considered, at least for me it is. Everyone’s financial situation is different, for some collectors $250 is chump change. Still all things considered, I think you got him for a good price considering how much he goes for these days.
Almost everyone missed out on this guy. This was possibly the stupidest release ever. They took was was considered the best S.H. MonsterArts figure, and then make it so no one can get it. Granted it probably wasn't on purpose, but it's still frustrating.
What’s more frustrating (for me mostly) is that these considered the best SHMA figures are getting re-released than some other ones that we’ve been needing. *cough *cough GODZILLA 1994
I can't say the Rebirth Godzilla figure replaces the 1994 Godzilla figure because they are both from different suits. But as a general Heisei Godzilla figure, the Rebirth Godzilla is the better figure.

Yeah, same here. Huge fan of SpaceGodzilla, so this set was a no brainer for me! Thanks for the compliment, glad you enjoyed the review!
I have both the original and the repaint this looks a lot better than.the original based of the scene where he invaded fukouka
I own the original release Space Godzilla. His head stays on fine, but his right hand pops off easily.
Yeah, it happened to me in this video for the first time. >>
Ink'd Kaiju Dude me too. So my head pops off if looking down, but the hands stay fine
Great review! I love your reviews. I'm happy to see someone review this monsterarts repaint. I would love to see a re release of Rodan.
Thank you buddy! Here's hoping we do get a base form heisei Rodan at some point.
@@ScorpioCesar That'd be amazing if we did! Keep up the amazing work!
Super glue that head to that joint and bam problem solved as that worked for me years ago with the OG release.
Absolutely fantastic © Diego Doom LOL!

Yeaaah, it's kinda cool but at the same time I much prefer the original. Now how about that new Space Godzilla just announced? 😍

Me: proceeds to buy the special color version
Me after buying it and messing with space godzilla: *WHY YOU LITTLE SHI-*
I got the original release of Space G and I gotta say it looks more like himself in the film in comparison with the special color one. But the special color Little G is more accurate.
Indeed, the original release was a damn near perfect representation if you ask me. This SCV seemed as if they had no idea what to do with him.
ScorpioCesar they got Little G correct in this release tho 😬 other than that there is really no reason for someone to buy this version.
Don’t u love when u get two figures in one box
I do!
But fantastic review
Trash Bag570 It’s always a lovely feeling indeed! Thank you!
Really love SpaceGodzilla and have this set as well. Great review, one of my favorites!

Welcome back Temo, as for NECA, their sculpts were always okay to good at best. I'm not too saddened they lost the license honestly.

ROFL AT THAT BIRDON THROW!!! 😂😄😅
From outta nowhere!
ScorpioCesar that made it so golden for the moment. 😎
Is there a way to fix the head since it keeps falling off
Probably if you use clear nail polish on the ball joint but I'm not going to try it.
*FOCUS*
WHERE YOU GET IT😢
I think it was ebay or a facebook group, can't honestly remember.
I'm getting the new onew that is coming this year
i hope they make at least one more space godzilla because I need one to go with the 94
Usually they tend to SCV them once and thats it but I can see them possibly making a battle damaged version.
@@ScorpioCesar while that is true look at all the godzilla 1995 sculpts they have so that could give it a chance to come back
@@kimberlyfitts6141 True but they can definitely get away with reusing the Godzilla 95 sculpt more than SpaceGodzilla lol
A question, do you going to buy the especial color battra ???
No, unfortunately missed out originally and it's too expensive now.
I need me a SHMA Space Godzilla. 😐
Temo Harri
Me too
Did you ever get it ?

Anthony Ring Such is life when you must have a figure you want.
Frustrations... frustrations of popping heads. I guess you will have better success when NECA releases their version of Space G.
NECA ever releasing a SpaceGodzilla? That's a pipedream.
Finally an easily affordable SpaceGodzilla
I'll take them off your hands if you don't want him anymore.
Why would I not want him anymore? lol

*cough *cough GODZILLA 1994
They may never rerelease 1994 Godzilla simply because the Birth version is better engineered. :( But yeah, this set was so stupidly ridiculous to get.
I can't say the Rebirth Godzilla figure replaces the 1994 Godzilla figure because they are both from different suits. But as a general Heisei Godzilla figure, the Rebirth Godzilla is the better figure.
Same suit, but there were some adjustments made. I will address this in the near future in a video but yes, Rebirth is superior engineering.
Right. Some people consider the Rebirth Godzilla as the better 1994 Godzilla, but that's completely off.
Why do u use the undertale music?
Victor Casillas Because why tf not? 😉

why do you use the f word
