It’s hard to find three that make RTW or Bespoke and call them top3. My first thought in different price points was Acme, Yeossal and Winson. There are also tons of small workshops that seem to do great work.
@@MisiuAcademy Thank you very much, I think of Winson as well. Sorry that I may not be very clear, I meant Indonesia, Vietnam. I live in Thailand so I can import from these countries without tax.
Nice video! These are ok boots, but in this price segment around 400-500 USD they have to compete with for example TLB Mallorca, Carmina, Fitzpatrick or Carlos Santos. Then I would rather choose them to be honest. 🤷🏻♂️
Nice! I enjoy seeing more info about newer brands out there. Out of curiosity, do you know the brand Berwick? I see they have very nice looking cap toe boots in black and brown scotch grain, and also one in Cordovan. Pretty tempted to try them out.
Misiu Academy Actyally while on the topic, does this mean that other brands like Meermin who also charge around Euro 450 for their cordovan boots are using cordovan from the same or similarly located tanneries?
@@sayeedsalim Meermin uses shell from Shinki Japan. It is not bad but it is also not considered premium and often thinner. I cannot recommend Meermin anymore for anything to be honest.
Great review my friend. I'm wondering about that oil spot rainbow effect you saw on the side. I'm wondering if that is unabsorbed dye That dried on the surface. That can have a strange metallic type sheen to it. I wonder if you do a coat of conditioning lotion if that will eliminate the problem. Let me know what you discover.
Definitely a great looking pair of boots.
Glad you like them! More pictures on the written review on the blog!
Could you name top 3 makers from Southeast Asia?

Ah! For boots, you can look at Vahtia, Sagara, Benzein etc. for shoes you can look at fugashin and cnes made to order maybe for budget decent shoes.

The idea is that they are hand welted, which usually costs more! But it’s a hard segment to compete indeed.

Berwick is ok. You get what you pay for. The cordovan is from Latin America and is not great.
@@MisiuAcademy Good to know. Their scotch grain cap toes look decent value as a beater. Lets see. ;-)
For sure!

I plan to condition them when I get the time, but I have never seen this kaleidoscope rainbow color on leather before.
@@MisiuAcademy if your able to photograph it send it my way. Keep me updated. I'm so curious about this.
Will do!
You can talk about sandro moscolini boots please for my excellent, I like to but ,thanks
Hi, I checked them out and they are not worth you money. I would buy something else they look cheaply made
