    The amp and him are both very highly rated. The fact that neither of them are "popular" is a sign of superiority and integrity.

    I've heard Yngwie trash Tony and I don't agree one bit with what he says. Tony is a phenomenal artist and musician.

    • @chubz1978cd
      @chubz1978cd 7 років тому +5

      that was a long time ago, i think i've read one of yngwie's interview about how tony's songs sound just like his. lol. but they're actually friends, they toured together during G3 with steve vai, satch and yngwie.

    • @fender68able
      @fender68able 7 років тому +4

      Yeah, long ago. I remember his exact words. " I thought it was me playing! It was fucking embarassing!!" LMAO

    • @Strato13
      @Strato13 7 років тому +8

      I love Yngwie, and i absolutely remember reading that interview either in Circus Magazine, or Hit parader, cannot recall, but yeah, I was laughing because the two sound completely different except maybe shared tones on certain runs.
      I hope Yngwie appreciates Tony's great contribution to music these days.
      I've met Tony several times already and he is an absolute beautiful soul.
      He's a bit of a joker too, as when we took a picture one time, he did the whole "rabbit ears" thing behind my head as the pic was taken lol..

    • @vanguard4065
      @vanguard4065 5 років тому +3

      i love Yngwie too but he is simply an asshole sometimes and he was probably jealous a bit when he heard Tony

    • @shred5

      I hate to break it to Yngwie but Tony is a much more talented all around musician -- and much more versatile too

  • @1970borntorun

    One of the FEW "shredders" ( and I mean the term - Shredder in a positive way ) that knows how to GROOVE. Steve Vai struggles with that, and Joe Satriani NEVER knew how. Tony is awesome !! ♫♫

    • @1970borntorun
      @1970borntorun 7 років тому +1

      ***** Wow, what a great wit you possess! How long have you been a KISS fan?

    • @DARKSIDEOFURANUS
      @DARKSIDEOFURANUS 7 років тому +1

      1970borntorun's comment is intelligent and accurate and btw EVH knows how to groove too Mr Glass

    • @DARKSIDEOFURANUS
      @DARKSIDEOFURANUS 7 років тому

      groove is an objective rhythmic time phenomenon; soloing ability and melody are subjective so your comment is illogical.

    • @DARKSIDEOFURANUS
      @DARKSIDEOFURANUS 7 років тому

      1970borntorun is correct in his analysis; Hugh Glass is wrong

    • @TruthSurge
      @TruthSurge 7 років тому +4

      "and Joe Satriani NEVER knew how"
      HAHAHHA Almost all of Satch's tunes were about groove and the song, never shredding. Satch's timing is impeccable.
      As for Vai, I suppose you've never listened to "Bad Horsie"? Just one of 100 examples I could give. Now, Vai, I would say, struggles with the "soul/blues" category. IE, he's too white.

    • @ggdd1299

      You mean Satriani sounds like him.. Tony released his first album in 1986, a year before Satriani released Surfing with the Alien.. back in 1986 nobody knew who Satriani was

    Meatball Malmsteen trashed about every great guitarist out there ! .... Swedish Tosser ! Tony plays music , instead of Phrygian & harmonic minor scales in every single song ! Oh , and apparently Steve Morse's vibrato is also shit according to " The Viking " !...
