Today I would like to talk about a little bit of cable knit chart.
I have a request to explain about this particular pattern.
However due to copy right issue, I am not telling every single rows, you can go to their website, and download the pattern for free.
This pattern is awesome, very detailed, and I love it.
I'm not in the mood to knit whole shawl right now, but it's worth to knit this for sure!

Thank you for sharing! You're literally the only tutorial I've been able to find. I was stuck because I was waaaayyy overthinking "attaching" the cable edging to the body part. (I feel kinda stupid! Lol).

I have been knitting the durrow shawl and it is by far the most enjoyable knot pattern I have ever knit
Oops I searched for Lucy hauge and just realised it wasn't her who designed this one. It's a great looking pattern though so I have downloaded it and will give it a go.

Hello! I really enjoyed your video and it was immensely helpful! I've now reached the last 3 stitches and don't know how to proceed because my last cable row brings me to the right side of the shawl, but the finishing rows are supposed to begin on the wrong side. I've attempted a few different things (ending with a right-side row so I can begin with the wrong-side) but then I've still got stitches left over after the repeats. Any help is appreciated!
Hi Morgana, thank you for your comment! You're right! I believe the way this pattern says is a simple error. You're supposed to finish on wrong side with only 3 body stitches left. Which means you can not start repeat of R1 & R2, because R1 is wrong side. So I would ignore it, and I will do R2, R1(decrease 1 st), R2, R1(decrease 1 st), then Bind off on Right side. What do you think? I checked their pattern again but there is no correction, but I assume that's a error! Good luck and Enjoy knitting!

Thank you for this tutorial video. On the pattern, under "Border" it says "Do not turn the work"...do you know what she means by this? How can I knit without turning the work?
Thank you for your comment! I just checked her pattern, it says "Do not turn the work" under [Begin by making a garter tab], not under "Border"
You will start knitting a garter tab, WHICH you do not turn the work, at the very beginning of my video, I talked about it. Instead of turn your project, you will have to turn your project CLOCKWISE! After making this tab, you will turn the project, otherwise you can’t knit! Only for the tab, you turn it clockwise! If you don't understand it, let me know! or you can watch my video until the end :) Good luck and Enjoy knitting!
@@BeginnersLUCKraft maybe I have a different version of the pattern? It definitely says "Border: Set up: while knitting the whole row without any increases and remove all stitch markers. Do not turn the work!"
And then it says to do the backward loop cast on.
It just occurred to me, maybe it means don't turn the work before doing the backward loop cast on?
I hope that's all it meant. Thanks for the reply!
