Wonderful
Cool
Never had these ...a lots of seeds , I like the look of the tree, doesn’t grow huge either which is a plus!
I feel lucky seeing it do so well, the brick wall must be a major factor. I don't mind it growing another 2 meters :-)
My strawberries have been tricking me like that too
My baby grumichama bush has long way to go , resilience can be the key trying again and again for crops to taste. Like you. Well done George.
They look delicious brother!
They are!
So jelly of what you can grow I’m trying to grow some pineapple guava in zone 7a and I’m waiting to see how they survive our winter here in East Tennessee
Let us know how you go mate
Wow, looks so tasty. Can't wait for mine to start fruiting.
It's so good!
IF I can keep my grumichama alive over its first winter this is one of the tropicals I have the highest hopes for here because of the short period of less than 2 months from flower to mature fruit 🤞🤞
I just ordered one if these while watch your video.. going to keep it in a large pot
Good choice!
Huum I didnt know this one too ^^ Did you know this plant is in the same familly as Eucalyptus ? called "Myrtaceae"
I put a piece of black garden hose in my fruit tree's to keep birds away. They think it's a snake.
They look pretty tasty 😋
They are!
I just find it amazing you can grow tropical fruits down there! Im heading down to Melbourne soon maybe i should bring some of my tropical trees with me?
Any idea if malay dwarf coconuts could fruit down there?
Patience is the key to success with tropicals here, most people won't bother waiting 5-10 years. Coconuts won't fruit here. Nothing to lose trying to grow one as an ornamental.
I find them much nicer when black, if you can risk some.
Birds beat me if I don't use netting.
Could you recommend a cherry for w.a zone 9?
Cherry of the Rio Grand and Grumichama
Which temperature does it handle in winter long term and short term? 🤭
In my experience it's similar to guava in cold tolerance.
@@RealLifeFruitopia the normal guava or strawberry guava? 🤭
@@FruchtSucht The tropical guava
@@RealLifeFruitopia thank you for your answer 😊
I had some Surinam cherry fruits and I let them ripen but they tasted disgusting. I guess I live in the wrong climate☹️
