Anyone who watches you for any length of time, knows you are not ego-driven. True confidence is learned through experience and you have that in spades. Of course, I could be wrong…but I’m not. ❤

Generally speaking, when people offer their two cents in a comment, it's just that, worth two cents.

All that being said. You are a UA-camr. An entertainer. People don't have to watch what they don't like. You inform people and help with life experiences the way you live and lived it. Keep on trucking. A whole lot of people are liking your posts.

I think you do a great job on your videos. Enjoy watching because of the varied content. Don't find you ego-driven at all. Very informative and comical as well.
    Keep doing you!
Especially enjoyed the video when Sarah came for a visit. Thanks for sharing Mike.

We all have Personas we put on in different environments, for practical and entertainment reasons, it would be dull if we didn't- for someone to think they really know you from a few 30min YT videos is crazy. Cheers

Confidence comes from inside. When my grade 7 teacher accused me of having a superiority complex, I replied " I don't have a superiority complex-I am just superior!"
This has stood me in good stead my whole life. I loved watching the point when my son and subsequently my grandsons realized the moment that most adults are morons and do not deserve automatic respect-they have to earn it.
    It is a proud moment!

Just, ask why? Why do others see me one way and I don't see that in me. Somehow I'm projecting something. If many unrelated people, see something in me, I just need to ask myself Why? Not judging, just find out why people see something you Don't see in yourself. If people see another person as a carpenter, what makes them see that? The tools of the trade? Yet I may not see myself as a Carpenter. Not even want to be known as one.

Trying to explain yourself to others that really don't know you from Adam's house cat, is impossible. The only person that knows you , is you. Present yourself to the world and disregard the stuff you don't like. It will work, or it might not. Life is a gamble. Roll the dice.

It comes down to, ‘it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it.’ There’s confidence and then there’s conceited. I know the difference, and so do you.

Interesting subject. The word 'Ego' has such a negative connotation in our society because it is usually associated with being Self-Centered and Arrogant. This is incorrect. But we have all heard 'Oh, he is so involved with himself he doesn't care about anyone else'. As in Ego-Tripper. Or 'Oh, his Ego proceeds everything he does he thinks he is in charge'. More Delousions of being Top Dog. Actually, Ego is a Good thing. Knowing yourself and being in Control of yourself, is a good thing. You pointed this out and you know what is what. It's kinda cool in a way because you could have said nothing about this loser-twerp, maybe even blocked him, and his posting would be lost forever. Better yet, you latched on and used his comments to put the right take on it for us to enjoy your angle, which happens to be Spot On. Not to worry, your head setting is Honest and not contrived. Screw him & have a good one. Vincenzo here.

Old soul. Ive been working on myself since I was 19 years old. Hard road. But at some point you have to just accept yourself and validate all the changes you can make or have made. Half of who we are (or more) is genetics). Can't always change those. But we can laugh at them;) The other half are hormones and environment. Our environment often shapes us. Other people (who we dont know's opinions dont matter). If they dont pay your bills, they dont matter.

Ego and confidence is not the same thing. For example, you don't go up and tell an experienced airline pilot he has an ego problem because he just landed you safely in a snowstorm without breaking a sweat. When you get older you know more because you've lived a long time. You've got a lot of wisdom to share. If people see that as a big ego so what, it's their loss. I laughed when you said someone told you that you need to figure out who you are at your age! On another note, I thought Sarah was getting a little bummed when you started talking about why you two are still single. She already covered that in one of her own videos regarding incompatibility with some joker she met. She even thought of bagging her channel, she was so bummed. But maybe it helped her in some way, I don't know. Nobody is compatible with anyone. It's how you handle that incompatibility that determines success or failure in a relationship. But I'm alone too and I really don't care because I know who I am and am ok with it.

You don't come off as egotistical but more matter of fact. I like matter of fact as it gets down to the nitty gritty. You do seem to blabber on on occasion (like now) but that's OK if the content is interesting. Carry on...
