Didn’t have these problems under DJT45 and C1H2I3N4A doesn’t let people just leave the country like what is happening.
The issue with the whole immigration at the border is "incentive."
When you are telling everyone to come but not letting the border police to patrol- then you wonder why there is a migrant issue?
If I was president- I would give migrants more of an incentive to go thru the front door instead of the backdoor or sidedoors or windows etc. Then I would give the police more incentive to catch folks at the border NOT going thru the front door. Basic common sense really. Then those that are processed you keep them at military styled billits like when I was in basic. With a commisary, etc. It needs to be a militarized situation there instead of a jailhouse. That in itself should incentivize those to come thru the front door instead of hopping fences.
That way, not only do you have more control of who is coming in or processed, but its more humane etc. At the same time, police & border patrol should have every tool in their arsenal to go after traffickers, and anyone who could be a terrorist threat. Whether its investigation at processing or investigating outside the border.
