@@Montanajade See is the oily texture they do not like. I used Non-stick cooking spray & sprayed it in a puddle in my hand & skiffed it across my naked arms, legs, neck, ears, etc... I promise they don't ł like oily 😂!❤❤
My Aunt down in Missouri used to grab a hand full of wild mint in the woods to brush an army of ticks off my legs, they were instantly repelled Like magic!
That's right, it'll work. Actually, I have so much mint growing at the edge of my yard from an accidental drop off a mint plant a couple years ago that lines the edge of my yard. It's a forest of it. Anyway, I just clip off some, rub it hard between my hands and wipe that oil all over me. That, with using that Dr Bronners peppermint soap I was telling you about, and those little guys come nowhere near me! 😊

A older widow woman in our church used to play outside games with a group of people & she sd the mosquitos NEVER bothered her so I purposed to observe her preparing herself before we went out to play 1 time after she said that. She went over to the cabinet took out her cooking oil, poured a sm puddle in her hand and applied it lightly across her naked parts of skin as if applying lotion. I thought wonder if Non Stick cooking spray will work ?... So After I got home, and on another day I needed to be outside.. I tried it... it works GREAT!! Mosquitos do not like oily skin. Now there you have it. ❤😂
It realllllly worked thank you we were out camping and the chain saw size mosquitoes love mine and my families rare blood type and we all get Hugh allergic welts from their bites and to far out to go into town to buy any store brand stuff and thought we had brought some with us but nope must have been left behind but I did have mouth wash as you suggested finally got some peace and quite from every one belly aching about bites and the swarms you saved our camping trip thank you so much ❤️🇨🇦

I was the delicious snack‼️ Although I sprayed my clothes with the mixture also, the mosquitoes 🦟 bit my bum right through my bike shorts‼️
Hi Pam it’s been a while since I haven’t written to you. You know… I usé Vicks vapor rub to scare insects birds, animals from my house. They come to my porch and poop all over and ruin my plants so, I spread Vicks on the rim of plant pots and on different things that I have. Do you have any suggestions for nats( fruit flys) they hide in my yard and everytime you walk in the grass or it gets disturbed they swarm everywhere and it disgusting please help
Here is another way: take a can then get toilet paper and squeeze it and get the tube off you don't need the tube and take some mint leaves and put it in the bottom of the can and put the tubeless toilet paper on top of it then take some vinegar oil on top let it soak it up then light it up and there you go👍
If it does not work, you can try my remedies for mosquito repellent: Mix neem oil and camphor with coconut oil, then burn this mixture daily in a lamp (dipak) to help repel mosquitoes and keep them away.
How about that. I might spray it around onto fabric surfaces that would keep them at bay. Strips of fabric that would also scare off birds. Mmmmm. Minty fresh garden.

3 cups epsom salt, 16 oz mint mouthwash, 3 flat beers, spray in the daytime around where you dont want mosquitos

Lemongrass works wonders for me...from head to toe..I use Shea butter lemongrass or spray essential oil with peppermimt or lemongrass 😊

You can put Mint In isopropyl alcohol let it steep strain and put in spray bottle. Use a clean glass bottle.
A few dabs of Vicks Vapor Rub on your skin, ears, ankles, etc will ward away Mosquitoes too.

My gma taught us to rub dryer sheets on our skin. It repels mosquitos and it’s not sticky

It depends on what kind of dryer sheets you use though. I tried this yesterday with these Clorox fragranzia dryer sheets and it didn't work at all.
I’ve tried this and it works but I believe it needed to be reapplied if you sweat it off when working in the garden
