Call me heartless, but at this point I hope that new Cobra Kai captain does that kick and really fucks up Dimitri. I really don't know why anyone even backs him. From the jump this guy was satisfied being a nerd. He was content knowing his brain would get him far in life & he'd pull a chick from his money. THE ONLY reason he even thought about doing karate was Eli. He didn't want it. Then when Hawk & Cobra Kai gained success he wanted to ride coattails. And then he felt forced into Karate. But in this season he was again content. He had his life planned past karate. Why did he go into desperate duche mode... PUSSY. So you know what kick that fucker unconscious. Maybe that'll be motive to get Hawk back into that badass gear we all love him in
I definitely think that Kreese manipulated Tory back to his side because he was very jealous that Tory’s a Miyagi-Do from the minute he saw her karate gi and he refused to accept it.
I think he might have something to do with her mom’s death too, directly or indirectly. We know Kreese’s ounce of good was gone when he killed off Johnny in his head, so nothing is too far for him anymore

@@DEAN_23 He despises Daniel and Miyagi. You can see how upset he is in S4 talking about the day he saw “his champion” come into the dojo with a black eye with his confidence shattered. He was never going to let that day go. He spent the last 10 years on the streets and in homeless shelters, and before that just doing small cash jobs here and there. He was not going to lose another opportunity to seize what he truly wants.

Tory ain’t Johnny, Johnny ain’t Tory. They’re fighting to see who’s team captain and letting Tory fight the girl who she had problems with and is thinking they have a bias for her after Tory’s mom just died is a HUGE mistake. IMO Johnny ain’t in the right here.
Johnny has been fucking up the last couple of episodes. Tori turning was like watching Anakin turn. Her turning is just as much bull shit as what Devon did. I'm betting we see Kenny go after Lapusso before this season ends for what he thinks he did.
Did you not watch the episode? Johnny wasn't at fault for Tory turning. It was Daniel and Amanda's fault. They should have let her fight if that's the way she wanted to handle her mom's death.. Johnny was right let her handle it her own way but Daniel just didn't want Tory to beat his daughter. Tory was fixing to kick Sam's ass and Daniel's ego couldn't let that happen. Johnny was trying to help.. Blame Daniel and Amanda.
@@Alexa_3882 how was it his fault? Daniel and Amanda wouldn't let her fight and Johnny was going to let her fight because he figured it wasn't his choice to tell her how she could grieve about her mom. She should've gotten to work through it however she wanted.

Daniel has been really over the top with Miyagi this and Miyagi that though. What happened to his memory from season 4 of “you do own way” and asking Johnny for help? He’s basically back to Miyagi is the perfect way and the best way for everyone. Johnny is like how Anthony was - they don’t know Miyagi. They know Daniel. And Daniel hasn’t been the best ambassador if Miyagi.
Kreese trained special ops, did recon in Vietnam and had 18 months covert training. So, he's adept at evading capture and I doubt authorities are spending much resources to try to find an old man who was innocent of the original frame job by Silver and who never had a prior record and did not use a deadly weapon. He's not top priority on some law enforcement list.

Tory just wants to win something for her mom. Cobra Kai will give her that chance. I don't think she is evil or suddenly has turned dark. She just went where she has the best chance to win.
But Kreese is using her to further press his agenda - just like he used his old students, including Johnny, just like he used Terry Silver, just like he used Johnny again, just like he used his new students, including Robby, just like he used Terry Silver again (backfired), and now, just like he's using Kim Da-Eun, Kim Sung-Yung, and their current students. That's what he does - he uses people to further his agenda, and leaves them worse for wear by the end, like a parasite feeding off of hosts, where it gets stronger, at the hosts' cost....
Ive seen a theory that kreese killed torys mom because blood clots can develop quickly from snake bites well at least certain species of snakes. I think that might be valid cause kreese had no female captain and needed one quick.
I not ruling out Kreese, but I don’t think he did anything to her mom. I think it could be Silver, he is the psychic of all of them and he would have a problem with Tory for ruining him. He almost killed Stingray just to get Keese out of the way; killing Tory’s mom doesn’t seem that shocking.

I think your Myagi yell was perfect; that’s some of the best things you can do in these reactions is hype people up by yelling the name of a character.
See the one thing that Daniel does is that he forgets that everyone has a past and has lived with regrets or things they did maybe, but honestly, he puts Mr. Miyagi on such a pedestal and thinks he was a great man, but maybe there are parts of his life that helped him and also caused him to become the man that Dainel met years later I mean no one becomes so wise as Mr. Miyagi did without learning some things for himself, he obviously did somethings that probably put him on the path to becoming the peaceful man he was years later, but no one is perfect, and Daniel needs to get that through his head. There's no telling what kind of childhood Mr. Miyagi had or if he was peaceful his whole life. I like this because it humanizes Mr. Miyagi. This episode 5. I have some pretty strong opinions on it. It made me cry, I felt so bad for Tory in this episode. Honestly---!!! I really wish Daniel would have stayed out of the fight, and let Tory fight the way she was, in this situation, Johnny was right, she was working through it, and honestly how he expresses how when his mother died, he'd kill to have been on the matt to let it out. But it looks like everyone is playing favorites with Sam and Not Tory. and I know that they just want to help, but Tory is grieving and in pain, she's upset and emotionally angry, and she's lost in her own grief. I couldn't stop crying for Tory. But honestly, she might had open up to everyone after the fight, there's no telling what could have been, but she needed to let that out in her own way and in a healthy way, but now she is back on Cobra Kai's side once again. because she thinks that Daniel and everyone were sticking up for Sam and wanted Sam and there picking favorites.
Mike Barnes did say people have died at the Sekai Taikai, maybe Miyagi killed an opponent at the tournament. Also maybe one Miyagi's teammates was Hilary Swank's grandfather
I can accept that Robby got his victory for a winner takes all match bc he suffered second place the last two tournaments. Miguel will get a victory in the next or final part.

They should’ve let Tory fight but not Sam. Johnny is the closest person to truly understand how Tory feels about venting out that grieve. Yeah Tory wasn’t in the right head space to fight Sam but telling her what she not suppose to do is gonna make her feel like nobody cares about what she wants to do to honor her mom.
OMG, wake up. They didn’t tell her she’s not supposed to fight, they said it’s not the right time for her to fight, because of the way she was fighting and the way she’s processing her emotions. Plus, Tory didn’t even tell Anyone about what happened, not even to Robby. She had it good with everyone in Miyagi-Do until Kreese popped in, got into head, and then suddenly after her mom died, she wrongly assumed Daniel & Amanda are second fiddling her. Johnny was just pissed that Daniel stopped the fight while he’s referring the girls. It’s not okay to fight while you’re pent up in grief and anger. Tory should fight for her mom, but she needs to let people who really care about her in to help

Johnny was out of pocket disrespecting Mr Miyagi but I agree with him on Tori finishing the fight with Sam. There’s some people that gotta work shit out so they don’t have to think about it and Tori is one of the those people. Great acting from her this episode.

Season 5 was No Retreat Never Surrender with how they were taking over all the dojos. And now here we are with Season 6 doing Best Of The Best again
I get the fighting for each one was so the best fighter became captain, but I would have looked at their past and times they were leaders and seen how they did. Robby would have been captain because each time he was leader he had the respect of the students and they never stepped out of line. Miguel has had on and off with his fellow students. Tory would have been captain because she had been the Queen Cobra for more than a year and the Cobra’s listened to her while Sam was always a bad leader. Whether it was endangering the other students, starting fights, or abandoning them she would have never been picked.
Tired storyline of Tory going back and forth to the good side, bad side She made up with Sam, had Robby, just stupid. Kenny turning would have made more sense.
Tory going to cobra kai was not that surprising. She wanted to fight, Daniel said no and they all turned and agreed. She went to the one place she knew would take her and allow her to do what she needed. The moment johnny saw her he knew, he knew why she went back to kreese. They are very similar characters. Daniel continues to be the ever righteous, always correct and no one can tell him different. They keep destroying his character. It’s odd that not a single friend or Robby went to check on tory at all that day. The fact no one went after her was even more insane
Tory wasn’t in her right headspace. If Daniel didn’t stop the fight, Tory would’ve literally injured Sam & herself. Wake up and see the way she was fighting. She’s grieving, and she needs support, but she pushed everyone away, and she even ignored Robby’s calls & texts. Stop getting on Daniel’s ass. Yes, she needs to fight for her mom, but it’s not right for her to fight at her current state. Johnny wasn’t right to think she was working through it. Fighting it out on a punching bag or dummy, yes that’s working through it. Fighting it out on your actual opponent that had nothing to do with her grief, it’s not the way. Plus it’s not okay to fight with anger. Daniel, Amanda, Sam & Robby are just concerned after just finding out about Tory after finding out her mother passed. Yes, it’s up to her to fight, but it’s up to her to let everyone help her find another way to help her get back to her right headspace.
So two more people to show up for cobra kai. I would say kenny but i think he will be in conflict with anthony. I can see part 2 being dark. Kinda like the empire strikes back. Part 3 will be miyagi do redeeming themselves.
Thanks for your super-knowledgeable reactions! Only minor issue I have is that Johnny seems to be getting more stupid, season after season. Child-like stupid. I know he's still stuck to the past in many ways but getting his son back, getting into a serious relationship, the baby etc. should make him see some of his errors. Daniel also has issues but it's not THAT bad. Devon: the laxatives were a bit much, but we did see that she felt like an outcast. Isn't she the only original Eagle Fang student? No ex-Cobra Kai, no Miyagi-Do. Insecurities got the best of her. Tory: I don't see how she can stay in that team for long and actually perform well. She's not in the best of terms with Kreese, but doesn't she absolutely hate Kim Da-Eun? Julie Pierce to the rescue and mom-figure, possibly.
That was messed up that Daniel’s character development from Season 5 and Season 4 finale was undone by going back to defense only and refusing offensive moves

Daniel has been the most annoying character this season because he refuses believe that Miyagi had a life before he met him and tries to pick and choose when to apply Miyagi Do. Johnny literally mixed Miyagi Do and Eagle Fang in his lesson and Daniel says that he’s shoehorning “that macho crap into the lessons”. Johnny is embracing Miyagi Do while still using Eagle Fang but Daniel refuses to embrace Miyagi Do while using a bit of Eagle Fang. Literally if Johnny uses any Eagle Fang, Daniel goes into defense mode and gets mad and tries to overtake the dojo and only use Miyagi Do teachings. If it’s not Miyagi Do, Daniel wants nothing to do with it, plain and simple.

Everytime Johnny tries to let bygones be bygones Daniel comes and with his ego and takes over . Granted Johnny isn't perfect by no means but the last few seasons at least johnny's been turning over a new leaf and Daniels the one who's been the bully in a sense.
They never got over it fully in Season 4 about philosophy and whatnot. You may notice that before Episode 3 Daniel and Johnny were working well together. Until Daniel figured out about the box. Even Amanda says he’s been off balance since then.
The storylines for this show annoy me almost as much as the storylines for Power and its spin-offs, but I keep watching for some reason. I may need counseling.
They are teenagers with a misguided sense of good. Plus going to a house without confirmation of an "ok" to go in Cali would probably be frowned uponed even with right intentions. Except with the exception of Sam going to Sam's apartment. Didn't have her #. The only excuse.

Johnny was in the right at first, Tory was working through it and needed to fight and vent her struggles physically. But talking shit about a dead man, especially miyagi is wrong
She was literally going to fk Sam up on some anger 💩. They showed us what wyd did after she got the point on sam, she kept on going. When you see your fighter doing that to their teammate it’s time to stop. Letting her work through that meant Sam getting seriously injured or worse.
Say what you want about Johnny and Daniel's dynamics. The two of them try to adapt to each other and fighting styles, but they are still who they are. Whereas some of the Miyagi Do's are concerned even Anthony, it still seems that they haven't truly changed since their bully/Cobra Kai days. And whose to blame? Devon. Poor Kenny. Still love Miguel, Hawk, Tory, Robby, and Sam. Demetri is a questionable character at this point. What a self loathing jerk with an ego boost and some fighting skill. Feels like he's the new Kyler with intelligence. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dimitri is really annoying and I've never liked Sam at all. She was the cause of her the start of the problems in the first place. People seem to really like Sam over Tory for some reason but they forget or just want to ignore the fact that Sam was a bitch to Tory for no reason at all in season 1

Not gonna lie I’m a little disappointed that Robbie got the captain spot over Miguel. The show began with Miguel and I was hoping it would end with him. He gets sidelined so much. First he was crippled and then he just backed out of the fight at the end of last season. It feels like they were building up to something big and just didn’t stick the landing with him.

He saying it’s not the Miyagi Do way to fight with Anger. That’s different from fighting offense & anger. And look at the end results after Robby fought Miguel with anger in S2, and the same when he fought Kenny is S4, and the way Kenny fought against Hawk in S5 episode 8. Fighting with Anger leads to serious consequences. Tory would’ve injured Sam & herself at that moment

Daniel does this ALL THE TIME, what would Miyagi do, say, or feel about this almost every episode to every character. He’s treating Miyagi as the moral standard when Miyagi himself wasn’t perfect. The season is Daniel struggling with the fact that Miyagi wasn’t perfect. On top of all of it, Daniel is one of the biggest hypocrites he says Miyagi do isn’t about anger but he punches Johnny in the face. Look the Miyagi glazing needs to stop

Johnny was right let her handle it her own way but Daniel just didn't want Tory to beat his daughter. Tory was fixing to kick Sam's ass and Daniel's ego couldn't let that happen. Johnny was trying to help.. Blame Daniel and Amanda.

Kreese trained special ops, did recon in Vietnam and had 18 months covert training. So, he's adept at evading capture and I doubt authorities are spending much resources to try to find an old man who was innocent of the original frame job by Silver and who never had a prior record and did not use a deadly weapon. See the one thing that Daniel does is that he forgets that everyone has a past and has lived with regrets or things they did maybe, but honestly, he puts Mr. Miyagi on such a pedestal and thinks he was a great man, but maybe there are parts of his life that helped him and also caused him to become the man that Dainel met years later I mean no one becomes so wise as Mr. Miyagi did without learning some things for himself, he obviously did somethings that probably put him on the path to becoming the peaceful man he was years later, but no one is perfect, and Daniel needs to get that through his head. There's no telling what kind of childhood Mr. Miyagi had or if he was peaceful his whole life. I like this because it humanizes Mr. Miyagi.
This episode 5. I have some pretty strong opinions on it. It made me cry, I felt so bad for Tory in this episode. Honestly---!!! I really wish Daniel would have stayed out of the fight, and let Tory fight the way she was, in this situation, Johnny was right, she was working through it, and honestly how he expresses how when his mother died, he'd kill to have been on the matt to let it out. But it looks like everyone is playing favorites with Sam and Not Tory. and I know that they just want to help, but Tory is grieving and in pain, she's upset and emotionally angry, and she's lost in her own grief. I couldn't stop crying for Tory. But honestly, she might had open up to everyone after the fight, there's no telling what could have been, but she needed to let that out in her own way and in a healthy way, but now she is back on Cobra Kai's side once again. because she thinks that Daniel and everyone were sticking up for Sam and wanted Sam and there picking favorites.

I get the fighting for each one was so the best fighter became captain, but I would have looked at their past and times they were leaders and seen how they did. Robby would have been captain because each time he was leader he had the respect of the students and they never stepped out of line. Miguel has had on and off with his fellow students. Tory would have been captain because she had been the Queen Cobra for more than a year and the Cobra’s listened to her while Sam was always a bad leader. Whether it was endangering the other students, starting fights, or abandoning them she would have never been picked.
Also, why no fight for the missing spot, Kenny deserved another chance

Tory going to cobra kai was not that surprising. She wanted to fight, Daniel said no and they all turned and agreed. She went to the one place she knew would take her and allow her to do what she needed. The moment johnny saw her he knew, he knew why she went back to kreese. They are very similar characters. Daniel continues to be the ever righteous, always correct and no one can tell him different. They keep destroying his character. It’s odd that not a single friend or Robby went to check on tory at all that day. The fact no one went after her was even more insane
Tory wasn’t in her right headspace. If Daniel didn’t stop the fight, Tory would’ve literally injured Sam & herself. Wake up and see the way she was fighting. She’s grieving, and she needs support, but she pushed everyone away, and she even ignored Robby’s calls & texts. Stop getting on Daniel’s ass. Yes, she needs to fight for her mom, but it’s not right for her to fight at her current state. Johnny wasn’t right to think she was working through it. Fighting it out on a punching bag or dummy, yes that’s working through it. Fighting it out on your actual opponent that had nothing to do with her grief, it’s not the way. Plus it’s not okay to fight with anger. Daniel, Amanda, Sam & Robby are just concerned after just finding out about Tory after finding out her mother passed. Yes, it’s up to her to fight, but it’s up to her to let everyone help her find another way to help her get back to her right headspace.
So two more people to show up for cobra kai. I would say kenny but i think he will be in conflict with anthony. I can see part 2 being dark. Kinda like the empire strikes back. Part 3 will be miyagi do redeeming themselves.

Only minor issue I have is that Johnny seems to be getting more stupid, season after season. Child-like stupid. I know he's still stuck to the past in many ways but getting his son back, getting into a serious relationship, the baby etc. should make him see some of his errors. Daniel also has issues but it's not THAT bad.
Devon: the laxatives were a bit much, but we did see that she felt like an outcast. Isn't she the only original Eagle Fang student? No ex-Cobra Kai, no Miyagi-Do. Insecurities got the best of her.
Tory: I don't see how she can stay in that team for long and actually perform well. She's not in the best of terms with Kreese, but doesn't she absolutely hate Kim Da-Eun? Julie Pierce to the rescue and mom-figure, possibly.

Johnny is embracing Miyagi Do while still using Eagle Fang but Daniel refuses to embrace Miyagi Do while using a bit of Eagle Fang. Literally if Johnny uses any Eagle Fang, Daniel goes into defense mode and gets mad and tries to overtake the dojo and only use Miyagi Do teachings. If it’s not Miyagi Do, Daniel wants nothing to do with it, plain and simple.

They never got over it fully in Season 4 about philosophy and whatnot. You may notice that before Episode 3 Daniel and Johnny were working well together. Until Daniel figured out about the box. Even Amanda says he’s been off balance since then.

Not gonna lie I’m a little disappointed that Robbie got the captain spot over Miguel. The show began with Miguel and I was hoping it would end with him. He gets sidelined so much. First he was crippled and then he just backed out of the fight at the end of last season. It feels like they were building up to something big and just didn’t stick the landing with him.
