I have the YPT 300 which is exactly the same as the e313. The sounds are magnificent. Fargo and Tech bras are my 2 favorites. Not to mention the Harmony section of the piano. I have put this one in my home studio and it is my goto rig along with the YPT 400 (e403). The 2 combine together for some amazing possibilities. Great low cost keyboard.
This keyboard is not just for beginners but it's also ideal for the more serious musician if you can't afford a Tyros 5 or a Genos. Even though the PSR-E313 is an entry level keyboard it doesn't sound anywhere near as bad as some people make it out, it might not sound as nice as a Tyros 5 or a Genos but these are still half decent sounds.
The first Yamaha I owned in a long series of keyboards! I bought it second-hand in a pawn shop. I went to try it out with my favourite pair of headphones and I at that time, was absolutely blown-up by the sound of the tenor sax. I hadn’t a clue about what an arranger keyboard was at the time, I just needed something cheap and portable with a palatable piano sound. Some time later I sold it back and upgraded to the E413, then quickly to the E433, one of the bests in the lineup IMHO. Two drawbacks to the E313: no reg memories, no arpeggios. But the e-pianos and organs are nice and you can layer two sounds and adjust their relative volumes, which is cool. The rhythms are nice too. The keys were great up to the E343 (best keys on a cheap keyboard ever), then unfortunately, the quality decreased. Sic transit gloria mundi.
There was one organ sound at 5:34 which I thought was really, really exceptional and I wish I'd shown more of it. Only played it for two chords in this video. Didn't realize how nice it was until post-production.
Yes it is a kind of rotary organ I guess. Organs were fine as well as some synths (Fargo and Analogon) and some acoustic instruments (trumpet, flute, vibes, tenor sax). The guitars simply sucks though. Now, the E373 is playing in another league altogether (nice guitars at last - it was about time -, incredible sound effects at this price point, arpeggios), but I think the keys were better on older models.
@@HubertEtAlice yeah time seems to mean nothing when it comes to keybed quality. It constantly varies and doesn't seem to correlate with price much. I got an Alesis VX49 controller the other day, it has a very weird key action. The actual shape of the keys is very square and almost sharp-edged. I'm liking it though, it suits my somewhat damaged hands! It'll make an interesting video.
A "review" is not just playing all the sounds but to provide details n demo of different functions of the device so viewer can know what and how much can be achieved from it!
Most people want to just hear the sounds because the functions are pretty basic in these keyboards. Plus they can look all that up on the net. My viewers are pretty smart. Yours... don't exist...

Mr. Oz Gearfacts: your channel is my favourite go to to discover what all of those cheesy cheap keyboards on sale on the used market sound like. I've been a "keyboard player" since the early 80s and have all manner of instruments in my keyboard room! One of my earliest keyboards was a Casio CZ1 which has aftertouch and some very early FM synthesis sounds I'd love to hear do a review of that. I believe it was made in 1989. I bought it in 1991. cheers from Toronto
It's not a crazy bargain, but yes I think you'll easily get $100 worth of enjoyment out of it. Don't put too much value in warranties when it comes to keyboards. They're amazingly reliable machines, across all breands :)
Gearfacts on the casio wk 110 i like to hear organ sounds and some bass and brass sounds and string sounds and saxophone sounds synth lead sounds And synth pad sounds and don't forget some of these sounds soundtrack new age pad space voice echo pad and echo voice and other sounds They all the sounds I want to hear
Ah yes I see it ...I'm not sure I can pay that much ($AU450) for such an old keyboard though, I'd lose a lot of money after making the video. I have to re-sell everything I review.
Been using mine for 15 years tons of features very reliable decent sound.
Yep I think they’ve done very well over time, they don’t look tragically dated and still sound just as good as the new models.
Awesome the Yamaha sounds pretty good
I just bought one for $35 just because it had MIDI but the sounds and rhythms are pretty good. It also runs on 6 AA batteries.

actually, the ypt300 is the same as the psr e303, very different keyboards
It sounds awesome 😎. If I ever come across one of these used at a very cheap price I’ll just take it 😁👍
The sounds on this keyboard sound better than my psr e263 and I also can't wait for the psr e473 to come out and one day I will upgrade to that one
Yeah the waiting for the 473 is sooooo loooonnnngggg
@@gearfacts agreed indeed 🤞 hopefully it will release this year

I agree. Good music really comes down to the way you play and originality of you ideas, that's more important the instrument itself :)

Ah Toronto - great town! I was there ...a long time ago now... anyway, thanks so much, I'm glad you're enjoying Gearfacts! :)
I got one today from Value Village for $40 Canadian.
Gearfacts keep looking for the roland e 20 or the roland e 30
Gearfacts can i please pick some sounds that I like to hear on the casio wk 110
Would this be worth it to buy it for $100. Its coming with a 1 year warranty. Please let me know if I should go for it?

What's your advise getting between this keyboard and psr e363.
Is psr e363 better?
Not really 'better', just more sounds and beats to choose from.

Wow, Thank you
Gearfacts theres a casio wk 110 on Ebay one of them is in Australia
I have bought a WK110 that should be arriving today
Hi just asking do you know where i can find tge automatic sustain? My keyboard is the same as yours
I don't have this keyboard anymore but I think there's an option in the Function menu. Just keep pressing function, it goes through many options.
@@gearfacts Yes its in the functions. I used to play this keyboard 12 years ago.
Gearfacts theres a roland pro-e on reverb the roland pro-e is in very good condition
Hmm I doubt they'd be happy to post it to Australia though ...I'll keep searching

Is this better than casio ctk 800?
No, the CTK-800 has the ZPI sound processor which makes it better than most PSR models
What would be the price of this E313 keyboard 🎹
like 100 bucks
Roland XPS 10 kitna price hai uska
Is $190 AUD (australian dollars) a good price for this keyboard? Found on Gumtree, comes with stand
It's a fair price. Not everything has to be a bargain :)
Keep in mind that this model is more than a decade old ( like 2009 maybe?), I used to have one of these as a kid, bought new for about $250 AUD
how loud is the speaker
As keyboards go, I’d say it’s average to below average
Price kitna hai
No touch response?
It has 3 levels of velocity response
