I’m here now. The staff are amazing, so friendly. The hotel itself is old and in need of renovation. 4 out of 5 of my family have cut feet from the pool, mine being the worst thankfully and not one of my boys. Food great rooms comfortable, and clean but all old and in need of mods. 3 stars out of 5
First, your content is great. You guys are amazing. We have booked ocean view for March 2023. As seen in your video, the light was leaking. Is that so, any sep they tool for it? Also, we want to enjoy party life too, any suggestions on nightlife/pool party at Hard Rock Cancun?
Try to check in early so you can make a reservation for that night or be at your restaurant when it opens if not they will say they prepared the buffet for you. Also, the bar upstairs deck is the best see if your reservation allows that one, it has all the best drinks. First night go with the Japanese statehouse! The beach chairs fill up fast so throw your stuff down beforehand! Have a great trip!
Love the video! Thanks so much for sharing. I noticed that you are vegan and GF. We are vegan and have been to HRRM and HR Vallarta. Both were great, but at RM it was a bit more challenging to find vegan food at all restaurants. How was it at this location? Any tips?
You guys are awesome!! We are going as a group of 9 ppl. The "kids" are in their mid-20s. I just got us all basic rooms. Hoping for an upgrade when we get there. Our trip is in Aug 2022. What do you think of a cenotes tour? What tour would you suggest? Also how's the food and what are the best places to eat at HRC? Thank you.
Thank you! So fun! The food is fantastic! Try to book at least one night at a reservation spot like the Tokyo Japanese steakhouse. If there is a party buffet those will have great food because of all the options. There are 1000+ cenotes dotted from Cancun to tulum. Most are privately owned. I have been to about ten. They are notoriously cold and clear. I would suggest the xcaret if your considering taking a group to a place that has a lot to offer. They have an epic cenote experience. If you plan to just do cenotes, perhaps Aktun Chen or dos ojos. Hope that helps! Enjoy your trip!
@@truth6564 We have been lucky when it rains, it's always in the afternoon and is generally sunny most of the day. If we know its going to be raining, we plan to do something else, Cenotes, day trips to the islands, etc... We wish you the best.
Thank you for posting! My girlfriend and I are going in a few days for our anniversary. We paid extra for the Rock Royalty because I read some reviews that mentioned difficulty securing dinner reservations. Fingers crossed that we get that room with the lounge chairs! Did you use the hotel’s airport transportation service? Also any extra tips not mentioned in the video? This will be our first time leaving USA!
Amazing! Thanks for your comment! Keep your passport paper the entire trip. It should be $40 or so each way to take a taxi 🚖 from the airport. Just act like you know where your going and say no thanks until you get outside so you don't get stopped 100 times for a timeshare sale. Dinner reservations are not easy the first night. However, they have an amazing buffet that night. Just put the reservations in the first chance. We stood in line when the restaurant opened and they accepted us even though everyone said no. Try to do at least one activity, they are fun memories! Oh and don't forget to ask about the meal times so your not surprised! Bring some small bills so you can give tips, they don't care if it's USD. Have a great time!
That was a few days ago ? Do you still have to wear masks inside ? How strict are the with that ? So no pizza for you. GF V ! You would have to live off rice and fruit ! Could even have the soy sauce. Is the gym and basketball court open ? Thanks for posting the review. Heading down in a few weeks.
We went around the end of the year last year. They still have a mask policy for inside from what I can see online. Ally has been a vegetarian for over 20 years now. She eats a lot of raw foods and simply cooked vegetables. Surprisingly she doesn't like to eat rice too much, lol. Your right, no soy sauce, amino acids is the substitute! We did not see the gym or the court, so we don't know about that, sorry. Hope you have a fantastic time.
this def just sealed the deal for me and my friends!! thanks
Welcome! Have a great trip

Im going in 4 days and im so excited!
So cool!
how much does the VIP upgrade cost?
Pricing changes daily so you’re gonna have to find out when you’re going first and then inquire
Anything you guys recommend the most?
Any tips?

Thank you! If you tell them about your preferences they will make special dishes for you. The buffet was also really great and had a ton of options.
