We saw Toto recently open for Journey in New Orleans. I was really impressed by Joes vocals. He sounded amazing, just like he did 40 years ago. I was like "Wow" Their rendition of A Little help from my friends was like a religious experience, with the gospel element and backing vocalists
this is the album where Joe totally shines his vocal performance on stay away with Linda Ronstadt on backing vocals to me is one of his best performances with Toto and he has so many great ones
Great video…would love to hear Joe talk more about the “behind the scenes” of the recent tour supporting Journey. Saw them in Cincinnati…just amazing! Band was on FIRE!
Just saw them 6 days ago in Rutland, Vt. Yes, Joe's vocal training is paying off, I thought he sounded very strong! Band was wonderfully tight tight! Looked like they were having fun, so we in the crowd had fun. a good head n ears on the FOH mixer helps too... Jeff did a great job mixing the FOH!! Had a good talk with him post show, and told him as much! I could close my eyes and pick out each instrument... A good Stage mix is important too, so the musicians can hear themselves, if the can hear themselves, they can sing with proper pitch!! All I can say is, a great show... Go check them out!!
Huge respect for Joe not only as a singer, but as a writer & producer. I know the guys won't dish on what went down but definitely seems like things ended sour with SP and some of the touring band and Dave, Luke & Joe.

I love how Joseph represents the WSU Cougars in so many videos. I’m a Washington Husky Alumni, but most of my family and friends were Cougars. And he really does sound better now.
Seventh One is the bomb 💣 🔥🤘🏻 Even though Joseph did tend to pull the band in a more Pop direction with some of his songs, when he wrote with Lukather or Paich it became pure AOR and almost Pop/Metal with “ Only The Children “ I would’ve loved you John to have asked in an Alternative Universe had the Band understood and got Joe the help he needed at the time, in his opinion How different would Kingdom Of Desire have sounded had Joe had been back in the band? No doubt Lukather would’ve still had those heavier songs but would it have stayed in the same direction or would Joseph had kept a little more of that classic Toto sound but just heavier?
The 7th One is my absolute favourite Toto-album!

Joe's voice has aged well. It's deepened but still has the range.

It has been remastered I think right? On the All In One box.

I went through 3 CD's of this Toto cd. That's how good it is...no, I'm not rough with playing CDs. ha,ha,ha!
