Stargazer was definitely up there for our choices, but we just couldn't get over the shape of the dashboard which made us go with the Veloz. No regrets with the Veloz thought. :D
Didn't hyundai revise the speedo frame this year? Previous model owners can also upgrade the old speedo frame too. Gotta applaud hyundai for quick response to customers input
@@DeoAlongbe careful on high steep road, Indonesia media tested veloz on an 18degree slope with stop and go. The cvt just failed to turn the wheels and stopped, with some smoke. Gotta wait the cvt to cool down and use momentum when the road is clear to make it. In the city it's fine tho
Stargazer (Mid variant) is the most sensible choice for me. It has the right amount of power, comfortability, features and everything. BRV VX masyado OP. Livina, ito yung 1st gen ng Xpander, bare type masyado. Xpander bang for the buck din. Mas sulit kesa sa Rush. Ganda ng interior. Mind you same suspension sila ng Xpander Cross so mas maganda mag GLS Variant nalang. Kesa mag Avanza G kayo, mag Veloz E nalang. Almost same price pero mas maganda ang offering. Bare type masyado ang Avanza. Kung may extra budget then go for GAC GN6. Sobrang premium and powerful ang makina.

I drove the BR-V, and one time I got in-line with a Veloz beside me in a traffic light. When the traffic light turned green, I immediately noticed that I accelerated faster than the Veloz, and neither did I step on the accelerator too hard nor put the gear in S Mode at all. Does that mean the BR-V is actually the fastest in this list?
i agree. whenever i look for a car na bibilhin, yung car's ground clearance yung pinaka tinitignan ko kasi dito satin, konting ulan lang may baha na agad. Gas consumption and driving comfort comes next. bonus na lang yung accessories and tech features para sakin. As long as malamig aircon and may bluetooth, all goods na. sa maintenance naman kasi is si casa na ang bahala and knowledgeable dapat tayong lahat pagdating sa basic car maintenance

They missed to include Maxus G50. Their Premium AT is less 1.4M. It has sunroof, leatherette seats, wide screen, and other good features. Fuel efficient also. My daughter loves our Maxus, very comfy ride

Yes, they used to be below 1M, and back then you could buy a PPV SUV with A/T for that money. Even the Chinese cars and Indian cars are averaging 1M now.
Veloz and BR-V are really good options... I dont know much about the Stargazer. All the others are underpowered with oudated gearbox. The Gac, well, is some Chinese brand that still needs to prove worthyness.
What's weird is that at 1:47 the Suzuki Eritga Mild Hybrid does 12.54 km/L in the highway which is the lowest among all other cars in this video including the XL7 which apparently does 20 km/L at 0:18. Hmm, that doesn't seem right.

Been watching your videos and reading your articles for a long time. Your initial testing seems to suggest that fuel economy on the Hybrid is at least better in the city vs the non-hybrid. I’ve driven veloz, avanza, stargazer, and xpander. Best fuel economy and driving exp sa Stargazer X. Veloz is underpowered. Avanza is meh. Xpander lacks safety features.
I'd rather drive the other vehicles you mentioned than stargazer. looks like how 80s see future cars which looks like a toy. They should've made a modern/classic design that will still look cool in the long run.

That's how it is pronounced in the US. But Koreans who work at Hyundai (watch their presscons) pronounce it as hyon-dei where the "i" is almost silent and the whole word is said fast.

honda has the power but looks basic. expander was my first choice but when i saw the veloz personaly, it was just perfect. interior exterior perferct. not as powerfull as the brv or hyundai stargaizer but it does its job. luxury feels and veloz trust me. expander looks basic sa luob i just wanted expander dahil sa ground clrearance but di naman nasabit ang veloz kaya good choice.
@@nanananana571 Xpander looks like tito car though. Front looks too busy design wise so ugly for me. Large body with small wheels like johnny bravo. But I agree, Avanza Veloz looks like karo but not that noticeable. Maybe because of the front snout being shorter compared to real karo. Personally, the height of Veloz makes up for its smaller wheels compared to xpander.

BRV exterior design really stands out my personal opinion.
I currently own Toyota Veloz. Veloz has the same engine sound with Vios. This might be the fuel efficient 7-Seat Wagon so far.

I like stargazer features and it's spacious interior design but not it's exterior design looks like alien in the movie yeah. Hope they will add sunroof so I can see the rain drops and the stars haha.

That's how it is pronounced in the US. But Koreans who work at Hyundai (watch their presscons) pronounce it as hyon-dei where the "i" is almost silent and the whole word is said fast.

Veloz, Livina, and Avanza. Eugh, all horrible cars. Livina with its complete neglect for the 3rd row, while Veloz and Avanza for its very "matag tag" ride quality and horrible NVH: not worthy of the price.

honda has the power but looks basic. expander was my first choice but when i saw the veloz personaly, it was just perfect. interior exterior perferct. not as powerfull as the brv or hyundai stargaizer but it does its job. luxury feels and veloz trust me. expander looks basic sa luob i just wanted expander dahil sa ground clrearance but di naman nasabit ang veloz kaya good choice.
Lol xpander has a better interior than the veloz plus parang karo yung veloz

@@nanananana571 Xpander looks like tito car though. Front looks too busy design wise so ugly for me. Large body with small wheels like johnny bravo. But I agree, Avanza Veloz looks like karo but not that noticeable. Maybe because of the front snout being shorter compared to real karo. Personally, the height of Veloz makes up for its smaller wheels compared to xpander.
