Inspired by Dr. Seuss’s ‘Horton Hatches the Egg’, where Horton the elephant stays true to his word against all odds, we’re challenged to examine our own faithfulness to God. Pastor Michael shares that true faithfulness is a response to God’s unwavering commitment to us, not a reaction based on fear, feelings, or force. Through the Holy Spirit, we can cultivate faithfulness that reflects God’s love and serves as nourishment to others. My 19 told son told me about this sermon. He said, "Mom, I'm not moving until God says so. I'm not going to move from this job until God tells me too. I am tired, but I'm not moving. " At that moment, I heard God tell me to let my son trust Him.

You know people can say whatever they want about Pst Mike - But his ability to explain chrisitianity in a practical way so we can apply it to everyday life is amazing. Instead of worrying and fussing about the grand gesture, I should start small and build on my own faithfulness before I start judging other people's faithfulness.

I had a conversation with someone, in church, who was rebuking his methods...she said "he's too extra." I asked her if she knows Jesus because He's extra! He's literally trying to snatch people from the jaws of hell, not play patty cake. ❤❤❤❤

@sarahs3154 I said the same thing! I told her the 'remedial math learner' in me appreciates how he brings the Bible to life and shows us the same things that happened in the Bible are still happening today. I will forever be grateful for his method of preaching. Jesus' teachings were controversial also, so the way they crucify Pastor Mike with their words just let's me know they would have literally crucified Jesus too.

Dear God, as we enter this new week, we come to you with hearts full of gratitude. We thank you for your endless love, mercy, and grace that you have bestowed upon us. We also ask for your forgiveness for any wrongdoings we may have committed in the past week. Guide us to be kind and compassionate towards others, and to find joy and purpose in our daily lives. We pray for the safety and well-being of our families, friends, and loved ones, and ask that you bring us closer together. We also remember those who have lost loved ones, may they find comfort in your eternal love. Protect us from harm and give us the strength to overcome any challenges that may come our way. Thank you for the gift of life, may we always remember to cherish each breath and live with hope and faith in our hearts. Amen.

1.) You should desire the fruit of the Holy Spirit to shape your life
2.) God is faithful
3.) Recognize (and understand) God's faithfulness
4.) Receive God's faithfulness
5.) God wants you to reflect his faithfulness
6.) Are you allowing the Holy Spirit to work in you the fruit of faithfulness in your life?
7.) Definition for Faithfulness: steadfast loyalty, consistent ability to stand firm
8.) Faithfulness to God is usually authenticated in the dark
9.) What fuels your faithfulness?: Are you faithful because of fear? Faithful because of feelings? Faithful because it was forced? Faithful because you want a favor
10.) The best reason to be faithful because it's free and it's fruitful. God's already proven that faithfulness is his character and he wants you to reflect his faithfulness
11.) Being faithful to others mean you can't forget how's he's been faithful to you

It wasn't until watching a few interviews with Mike Todd that I started listening to him. Honestly I came across a few videos bashing his methods but even listening and the examples they used I would ask myself "What was wrong with that?" If you are not forward thinking you miss it easily. I'm not a total fan of the visuals but I completely understand how it can reach people that traditionalists cannot.
