Thanks man, the technique will work anywhere there are catfish as long as they’re biting. You may need to adjust it a little bit, possibly turn it into a Santee Cooper or put a demon dragon on sometimes. Good luck🦾

Just remember while doing that on the bank you may have to adjust your weight and sometimes the river they just move too fast and you got a wait for a day when it’s a little calmer, demon dragons really do a number on them also with this method. Just a little tip I actually put the hook right on the rear clip I don’t separate it with a leader like everyone else. When the fish are real active I noticed they were smashing the demon dragon and not even getting the bait ha ha

It appears they had the hydros turned off that day. I've never been lucky enough to fish there when they are shut off or turned down a bit. That one fish is a dandy. Good job.
