Sir I got a question
I tried bracing my core but I don't know how much to do , I am confused between filling the stomach such that it fills up full or just upto the level where the fingers are out? Because filling the whole stomach it's hard to control and hold the breath
Can we do with dumbbells
Can we do with dumbbells
@@KR143you can but just slightly annoying to do so with it
@@NaturesParadiseyep not the same but still good enough
People refuse to believe me when i tell them I've obtained my abs by using the stairmill at the gym. All i do is contract my abs while at a high but steady pace. I get cardio and core strengthening all in 1💪🏽
U look like u weigh 110 pounds tho shorty speak for women when u say shit like that
I checked out of this convo when I saw the word cardio 😩
Wait, I thought abs is gained by doing 100,000 sit ups a day?
@@bloodeagle2945haha
@@bloodeagle2945of course not, everyone already has juicy fat abs under all that fat, same shit with biceps, pecs, lats, you just gotta get low body fat and you'll become a muscular machine!
The only kettlebell I have is 22kg, shits bout to get real 😅
Good luck solider!
Make a beast out of that ab
Lol I'm on here looking for the correct weight kettlebell to start with. I'm 175 lbs and fit, for reference. How did those 22kgs work out for you?
@destructimus it's actually a pretty nice weight for me but everyone is different, I think my gym numbers are reasonably high compared to average people.
😂😂
Make sure your hand coordination is on point for this one or else you'll end up with a crushed foot
Exactly what I was thinking :(
Yeah, those Kettle bells are NOT light
Yes, that is a real thought!🙄
More reason to be on your knees maybe
That's the first thought I had when I saw that lady doing it barefooted. Not that it wouldn't hurt just as much with gym shoes on
I used to do this as a child waiting for the school bus.
I didn’t realize spinning by bag in boredom was helping my core.
[I felt it more in my shoulders.]
🤣
Same vibes as kid me who had massive calves because I walked on my toes all the time. Calf raises who? Just walk around like a weirdo lol.

😂😂😂 good job
That OutKast remix is dope!
Thank you. I couldn't remember what song that was. Me and you. Yo momma and your cousin too
Agreed!
I knew I know that tune from somewhere. Thanks.
@@thersten Elevators!
I came to the comments to see who else noticed 😅
Thanks for explaining what bracing is with an easy to understand demonstration. Al this time I thought I had to suck my stomach in and then tense my abs. This makes more sense
I did the suitcase carry for the first time today after watching this channel
and? whats the point of your comment if not to tell your experience..
@@TripleAMF it was good! Felt nice to know I wasn’t putting my back at risk
@@TripleAMFthe point of his comment is 1. to communicate to the content creator that he has tried an exercise that he learned from him (which I’m sure he would be happy to hear) 2. it boosts the algorithm for this amazing man’s content. So instead of trying to put others down, just be nice brother.
I've also added it to my training recently & it has shot my squats up 📈
I did the McGill big 3 ,recommended here didn't get six packs yet but a pretty solid core . My core feels awesome after doing it.
THANK YOU! For explaining how to brace the core
I am confused Do you just push your stomach out ??
@@miaferguson1349 Just focus on making your stomach as tight as possible. Think about what you would do if someone were to hit you in the stomach
@@miaferguson1349
When there's weight on your stomach (you could push with your hand), it feels different more like a tightening but it pushes it away.
You're not distending your stomach out.
@@PhoenixContorta👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Exactly this👆🏽
Facts!! Around the world is definitely a stabilizing exercise
See ppl doing this exercise but never understood it, thank you for breaking it down.
I'm a wheelchair user, and my trainer has me do a variation of Around the World, up and over my head. Gets my core fired up.
"Most people don’t find the standing position difficult."
For anyone who has cake, standing or kneeling won't do you as much good unless you have the weight pulled up higher because to clear your butt, you will go out of alignment. I stick to the goblet marches/squats with a knee up towards opposite shoulder and save the around the worlds for my shoulder mobility/cervical stability.
That’s such a good point because I noticed swinging the bell around further at the back
Ohhhh that’s a good point, it’s a problem for me too
Cant thank you more . Watching you has helped me incorporate mindfulness in my exercises
This channel is pure gold 👍
Overhead marches were a 1930-1940 classic❤
This channel is nuts. I’ve never seen this ever and been working out a long time. Definitely giving this a try
I’m definitely incorporating this into my routine ❤ Thanks, Doc.
Bear pose pull thru is an elite core exercise for sure
I swear squat university has the best content for working out
Can we just acknowledge that crunches and sit-ups aren’t useless? You use your rectus abdominis to create flexion every time you sit up in bed, or lean forward in a chair. Yes, your cores primarily use is stability, but forward flexion also matters
Nice. My back hurts when I do curl ups and situps. This looks like a great alternative. I'll try this tomorrow.
I just got your book. It’s excellent. Thanks for all the advice.
Squat university videos are effing awesome!
These are amazing I’ve been throwing these in lately and definitely feel the burn
Next purchase: kettle bell.
If I only have a 10lb kettlebell but 15 and 20 lbs dumbells, can I go heavier with those, or is that gonna mess me up given the cumbersome grip situation? Am I better off doing more reps of the kettlebell, or is there even any point in doing around the worlds at too low a weight?
Bought one today 🤣
@@KaiOpakaMaybe put the dumbbell in a backpack, then you can use the strap on that. Makeshift kettlebell.
@@Seetiyan good idea!
@@SeetiyanI just ordered adjustable dumbells and a kettlebell grip to get some versatility without having to buy separate items. Praying it all works.
Thank you for teaching belly breathing🫁💨💯🪬💛✨️
I love man, you're amazing. Since you train Olympians, there no doubt to not believe you.
More exercises like this would help out my routine a lot! Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us ❤
these are such good and simple exercises, Thank you so much for sharing these with us.
Thank you for this! I found the usual around the worlds extremely easy, I will try the sitting version

Came here looking for this
Only 20 people knew what this was shame
@@jajajja2031it low key did cross my mind lol but quickly left when I start tryna figure out how I can cook these abs lol
I was about to do the same thing 😅
SAME
I’m to the point where I’ll still work out but I’m not doing any type of strenuous activity or high intensity cardio exercises.
I’m a slow cardio girly, the most I’ll do is sprint bc it’s short distance.
I’m done with sit ups & crunches, so this is right up my alley 😆
Bro giving out gold
The problem for me is that my shoulders and arms get exhausted from this faster then my abs...
Same. I feel sore in my shoulders. Abs don't feel it
Can't wait to try this

@@kynshii damn right I do.
I tried those exercises with available dumbbells yesterday at home. I did not feel struggling because weights were pretty light. Except the pull thrus. You feel your core burning!! I am going to try rest of the exercises at the gym with heavier kettlebells today! I just subbed to you because the information you provide is so rare on social media.
Doing these one-legged was an absolute game-changer for my hip issues
It’s not only about the exercises or the right posture which you teach in an awesome way but the way you teach how to get to that right posture is like no one else 🤘🤘 like in this video “how to feel the braced core using kettle bell” is so easy for a beginner to follow… please make a video on how to contract the glutes muscles during the top position in Squats … My Wife cant do it 🤣🤣 even after me trying Zillions of ways
I experimented at the gym today with pushing away the weight on the stomach. For me, the old way of “bracing for a punch to the stomach” is more effective in bracing my core.
Thank you for explaining core bracing.
I’ve been bracing my core wrong this whole time. Instead of pushing my stomach out - - I have been sucking my stomach in.
I started doing this with a basketball out of boredom. I got really fast with the arms and switching rotations, bend at the knees a bit, highly satisfying. Still can't hoop though.😮
Imma try this NOW!
Please, some information on core bracing and breathing. 1 min of this to just one side and I'm completely outta breath.
This was one of the nastiest core workouts I've.
I love this
So… are we at a higher level when the core braises it self. 😅. Praise GOD. thank you doc.
Great way to drop the kettlebell on your calf or ankle. Use a small sandbag if you have access to one. If not and you want to do this movement on your knees, please be very careful!!
I only feel that in my arms
I am not a PT: I enjoy doing kettlebell halos (it's an around the world but overhead) nice and slow emphasizing wide circles to engage my core more. Alternating direction every rep
Glad Shaggy is finally working on his core
Perfect sound track 🔥🔥🔥🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
So helpful❤❤
I love these! Thank you!
Now do one telling me how to select the correct weight. I keep looking at them in the shop but dunno which to buy!

Thanks.
Great Channel. Very Valuable info. 💯👍🏼👍🏼
🎼🎶 Me and you, yo mama and yo cousin too...
Me and this dude have the same abs protocol!
Love your content! This is gold🥇
thanks! I am ALWAYS looking for good solid functional core exercises!
I wish they let us save reels in playlists too. I got kettlebells but haven't really used them I should get back to it.
Hit the 3 dots in the top right corner. You can save it from there.
Thank you! Amazing 💪
I do kneeling ab wheel, roll-out offset chaos carry with dumbbell, and that resitance band walk out push out exercise. Thanks to your videos. ✌️
Great information for me and you, yo mama, and yo cousin too.
I can confirm, the bear pose pull thru is actually such a great friggen exercise! I highly recommend it, stay stable and contract your core and I’ve never felt muscles work like that it was great. I also do one leg bicep curl and press trying to stay stable and it’s similar to the March and it’s a core burner. These stability exercises make me feel and move so much better, highly recommend!!
That Outcast jazz rendition was dope
Never did any of that and was more SHREDDDDDED
I love your exercise content!
solid
The oukast rendition thou😂
Me n you
Elevators orchestra is something I didn’t expect to hear lol
Essentially you get visible abs by being lean and build a strong core by functional training
I remember Sean actually said something not supportive about this excercise, yeah I know he's only focused on muscle building not the type of functionalities
Nice and I like the song on it too. "OutKast Elevators"
The standing around the world looks like a good way for me to drop a kettlebell on my toe :P
Excellent have been starting to these excerise for core strength.
your info is bomb:) thank you!
absolutely love this content
I have started to implement this movement into my routine and it takes some stabling to keep me from leaning all around the world. LOL I love it!
Awesome 🎉

Nice
Don't ditch anything, abs exercises are great,i used to have hard abs in martial arts bcz the cardio training was intense and we used to do 100 cruches and legs raising and a couple of others, but u don't need cardio to have them, just train them well,ur whole abdomen
Thank you!
Thank you 😊
Very cool.
I freakin LOVE Kettlebells and these exercises.
Was waiting for her to drop that kettlebell on her damn foot
The song is outkast elevators never heard that version
And I'm doing my 300 push-ups since 1991 until today every morning...my abs are there
I just add this to my routine, i love it
Thanks man💪
Nice! You learn suttin’ new eighday! 😎
Now im wishing i bought a Kettlewell when i was buying workout equipment for my house 😅😅
It’s amazing how much I learn from a channel that seemingly only focuses on “squats”. More like “core university”.
