@@martinward7239 he keeps the first marinade for 1 hour and second for half hour..

But in my opinion keep the second marinade for at least 3 hrs minimum to 6 hrs if you have time in the refrigerator as it becomes more flavourful and it tenderises the chicken even more so it'll be juicy.

Great Video as always Chef.I make tandoori chicken in my charcoal tandoor often.Sometimes it’s perfectly cooked and white inside but sometimes drumsticks 🍗 are red inside near the bone .Any suggestions:)
Cook drumsticks separately as they take longer to cook bhai
@@sagnikbhattacharya7597 Thanks Sagnik.You’re right .For tandoori chicken I think the size of chicken is very important .Sometimes Drumsticks in Australia are too big so it’s better to choose small chicken around 1-1.2kg ..
@@leoawakeSize of the chicken really matters. And if the chicken still seems to be bigger than convenience, then wrap the bird in a foil wrap well, steam it until fully done, unwrap, skewer it and then tandoor. Brush butter or ghee to your liking. And done.

Wonderful recipe..jus a doubt ..can any other oil be used as a substitute for mustard oil
Mustard oil is what makes the taste very distinctive and flavourful. You can add any other oil though but it won't give you that special taste. It's a key.
