The Blue-throated Hillstar is so beautiful … so glad you were able to photograph and video such an amazing hummingbird. They look so happy too. Thanks for bringing them to us.
Carole, you were right this is the best video yet! The Blue-Throated Hillstar is absolutely gorgeous!. I am glad it has a territory to live in, and hope its numbers improve. The drone footage of the trip up to 12,000 feet to find that gorgeous little Hummingbird was awesome!!
Congratulations @Carole finally you took pictures and a video, from the rarest Blue - Throated Hillstar. I am happy for you. It Is a very beautiful Hummingbird. Thank you for sharing.
Oh wow! The Blue throated Hillstar is beautiful! The photography and video are amazing! You were right, this is the best yet, Carole! Thank you for sharing this with us!
That Blue-Throated Hillstar is one tough hummingbird! To live in that environment is absolutely amazing to me. Also Carole, you are one tough lady to be climbing around at 12,000 feet with a pulse oximeter of 71. Many younger persons would be gasping and have a hard time doing that. You travel a long way to get to Ecuador but I never realized how far you travel in Ecuador by car to get to these places that are so remote. Absolutely great aerial photography again and again.
I hope you realize we live vicariously through you. Thank you for sharing this part of your life with us. I am in love with the Hillstar now. I pray they multiply and we can see more of them in the future.
OMG, wonderful VIDEO! Love the popcorn, must try that, and I HOPE you talked those Blue-Throated Hummingbirds to come fly way up North so I can see them out my window next year with all the others. What a wonderful trip!!! Thanks!!
Every weekend I get to go on vacation to places I could only imagine and see wonderful hummingbirds and beautiful landscapes via your wonderful videos. Thank you.
I'd cry too!! The emotions alone of everything you do Carole. Fabulous! Gorgeous terrain. That little hummer is safe to flourish and hopefully forever. Thank you again. You and your beautiful life🥰
Love your journeying! And the crescendo in the music is Wonderful as the tiny Bluethroat HillStar is 1st sighted!! I cheered with you!! Superb drone footage of the terrain! Total respect for you! Totally magical!!
