Without detail and context perhaps Denzel was propositioned and being tested but he told Diddy "NO" emphatically as others suggest you have to do with him which would explain Denzel telling Diddy "You don't respect anybody". Denzel would have had a strong negative reaction to being called "Daddy", unlike Fabulous who seemed to squirm for fear of a secret being revealed when Diddy tested him publicly calling him such. Just because you went to a party doesn't mean you were in the inner circle or looking to wild out. There are many gunfights that happen in a night club it doesn't mean you were personally involved because you were there when one broke out.
