I support this but I know the short path
1.dry roast the chana dal
2.grind it
3.fry with ghee
4.add sugar as per your taste
5.slowly it will become melt
6.add some more ghee and dry fruits,cinnamon or cardmon powder
7.switch off the flame,after 5 to 10 minutes make laddo

I am making these ladoos today but I have increased the proportion of the chana I have taken 1& 1/2 cup of chana dal. So should I use 1& 1/2 cup of sugar for sugar syrup or 1 cup sugar is sufficient for the syrup. Please tell me

I agree with the chana dhal but think a bit .... won't this chana dhal laddoos give the people who eat it gas problems? Because when I eat dholl puris made with chana dhal it's disturbing!!! Too much gas forming in stomach !!!!
