There is a dude who wrote a book after he got stuck in a rock for 127hrs and then cut off his arm. He was climbing a section like this and called it a chimney climb. I came here to see what he meant. So this is what he meant.
Roddy's reply: LOL yep that's how I got started! I climbed a lot of massive beech trees in the city parks in New Haven, CT. So much fun. I have a friend in Costa Rica who leads climbing trips on trees there, with ropes and safety gear! Best, Roddy
