I used to fish the fishing jetties at Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park a lot 3-4 years ago. Caught snook and jacks there more than anything, but caught a couple sharks and a variety of odds and ends (including a trumpet fish). I never used bait... just artificials. I might have caught more fish if I had used bait, but I did alright with jerkbaits, shrimp pattern softbaits, and spoons I threw out there from shore.
I love your show. I noticed something though. Please pay attention to the smoke point of your oil. It was a beautiful episode in the kitchen, cast iron gets VERY hot. I'd suggest an infrared thermometer. Looked like the chef was using olive oil which has a very low smoke point and is not recommended for heating, Incouldnsee the smoke building above the pan. I don't want you oxidizing your precious catch. Stay safe out there.
Great video guys always enjoy watching you guys fish as long as you come home with a meal you've had a good day even with all the sharks

@Darcizzle Nice camera shot from the bow.
You know a LOT about sharpening knives. It's good, but also a little scary. Plus-- shark chucking! Something for everyone.
always love your videos. have you ever considered making one about slow pitch jigging?
You two are always, great action! Keep on catching!
