Welcome along to this episode of Aidans Railways where i have put together a compilation of trains running on the massive Eastfield in o - gauge layout. Please note that this footage was recorded over the year of 2022 and includes non prototypical trains running. It also shows how the layout has progressed over time.
The episode is meant as a bit of fun and for the enjoyment of watching trains pass by.
This truly massive O-Gauge model railway is being built by Mick Worrall and the South Tyneside O Gauge group.
Mick Worrall is the owner of Durham Trains of Stanley and this amazing layout .

Excellemt! Particularly like the weathering on the wagons, the oil tanks look amazing. Top locos too and a nice layout coming on!
Great railway and nice that the curves are quite shallow, often a problem on many layouts, too sharp curves.
I am a keen O gauge modeller and a member of the GOG and I specialise in mainly Steam Locomotives, so I would like to see more of them running on your massive layout ! I have also just subscribed to your channel and fingers crossed ! Regards from Ron.
I have just viewed your video of the ‘O’ gauge layout of Eastfield Depot. I worked at Eastfield from 1980 until it closed in 1992. I have to admire the detail you and your team have built into the layout. The accuracy is astounding, the weathering of the locos is superb.
Brilliant model! Larger scale models capture that realistic feeling so much better than smaller scale models, you feel that bit closer to the real thing. I no longer model railways but modelled in N gauge years ago. It always felt you were viewing from a long distance away rather than close up and in the action.
Just out of curiosity, who makes the Mark 1 coaches?
