soooo, first: nice video =), we're thinking about a pikachu/miraidon deck in my local community aswell rn and i got (alot of) questions :D - how do u rate the consistency of the deck you presented here? it seems awfully reliant on going first and hitting the right cards to get started (even more than current generator gamba^^) and even then, all the opponent has to do is hit the magnemite and energy attachment is rip correct me if im wrong, but it seems like alot of conditions have to be met to attack turn2: - turn1 magnemite in play and it survives - turn1 good start to get board setup without a supporter - 2 different energies in discard and the correct third one in hand or discard at turn2 - turn2 pikachu (or iron hands if useful) in play and active position (if necessary being able to switch it in) - for eventualities: no priced squawk, no priced raikou as only sealstone target or easier attacker etc more questions^^: - what do you think about secret box as ace? looks very powerful too (discard energies, gets supporter and area zero easy) - how risky do you think is the magneton play as it drops a price card for free (in comparison to dusknoir)? - how do you estimate matchups (we imagined dragapult, sth with munkidori, regidrago, dusknoir and iron thorns etc being horrible as they can disrupt the pikachu so easily)? what are your thoughts on: - DTE - 2x squawk for consistency - maybe dropping ursaluna - to maybe have 1x joltik (with jolting charge) if forced into turn2 setup - lumineon V (sec sealstone target and ofc supporter availability) - vacuum to discard stadium for liability removal options - thorton to be able to instantly evolve a magneton again more ideas we had, i'd love to get some feedback^^: - chansey + blissey ex as energy engine with trumpet, combined with magneton (using maybe poffins?), same turn1 start strategy - same blissey energy enginge, but using hoothoots and rotom as starter for setup and consistency (like, idk, terapagos setup stuff with miraidon + pikachu mix?) - ogerpon engine with energy switch + retrieval for setup and draw support if you got so far: thanks for reading (and maybe answering^^). maybe someone comes up with something entirely different to get those 3 energies in play, kinda exciting to play around and try stuff :D -end of wall of text- here's your potato (yes, im old)

I understand your concern about the deck, I have thought about this a lot myself. - Since we play Miraidon ex it's only one ball search away from getting a magnenite and Pikachu ex (or any other L Pokémon) on the bench. In all my opening hands, it rarely occured that I couldn't find it. Ofc, if it's survives depends on my opp. rng. - There is Radiant Greninja, Squawk, Trekking shoes and ultra ball in the deck to get the energies in the discard and Earthen Vessel to search them. Crispin might also help with this. - I'm not a fan of playing 2 Squawks (personal pref.) After the first turn, it's pretty dead and it comsumes space. I would rather make space for a His. Heavy Ball instead. - Secret box might be a great Acespec as well!! Will give it a try in future builds^^ - If you play it right, the risk should be rather low. You can manipulate the price count in your favor. - Well, Dusknoir is a threat to many decks ngl. 😅 Iron Thorns slows the deck down but is not an auto loss for sure. Just gotta play slowly and adjust. Cards that place down dmg counters to weaken the Pikachu will def. be a weakness to the deck. - I'm not a fan of DTE in this deck as it doesn't help the Pikachu at all. If it would only be there for the Iron Hands, I'd rather cut it :p - Uraluna is great for end game when you are out of resources. (Personal pref.) - Playing only 1 Joltik is not enough. You want to play 4 or none to see it in the early game (I tried ;) ) - As I said in the video, it might be worth finding space for Lumineon V. - Thorton is also something to consider trying out. - The Blissey ex + Trumpet version and other versions are a WIP. There are many ways to play Pikachu ex and I will try to figure them all out ;) I hope this (might) lighten things up. This is a first version of the deck with many more to come. But I wanted to share it anyway so that we could discuss possibilities (like this :D ) I will keep testing builds until I can finally say "I found the right one!" ^^

Why not the new stadium for those Stage 2 meta Decks like Charizard and Dragapult?
Had to choose between Area Zero or that one. Will definitely also test a build with the new stadium.
