- What is Polo Reef? It is the culmination of Andrew's lifelong passion for the aquarium hobby, especially the reef hobby, and it is his attempt to return some of the joy that he has personally received from the hobby over all of his years in it. While he is primarily known for his current focus, a 17,000-gallon reef tank, there are numerous other tanks currently in operation in his home as well as literally dozens of tanks built over the last 40 years from which a wealth of information has been gleaned. This attempt at paying the hobby back will be delivered via educational and entertaining videos as well as questions being answered, and new information provided via the Polo Reef website. In addition to paying things back this way, several educational charities as well as a reef restoration charity will receive all of the proceeds from the sale of Polo Reef merchandise. By doing this Andrew helps not only to help educate both new and old hobbyists but also to help bring new individuals into the hobby that he loves so much.

Was für ein Traum Aquarium, die schönsten Fische der Welt wie man sie so im Meer auf einen Fleck nicht sehen würde . Man müsste die ganze Welt bereisen um diese Vielfalt zu sehen , und selbst dann müsste man noch Glück haben um sie im Meer zu sehen . Einfach Grandios . Mein Bescheidenes 3000 Liter Becken ist zwar auch wunderschön aber das hier ist ein Traum der wahr ist .

Anyone that has ever seriously been in the hobby has to be in awe as I am.. My largest tank was 350 gal and was only fish.. I know the work and knowledge involved to stay on top of that even with the proper equipment.. It obvious why you have been successful in life just by the detail and perfection you strive for in your hobby (which I'm sure is way more than a hobby to you). My 12 year old has been asking for a live jellyfish since she could talk. She's a straight A student. And a two time state champion in Louisiana for creative writing. If I could afford to get her a live jellyfish I would in a heartbeat. She's got jellyfish bedding, jellyfish backpack, jellyfish lamps, stuffed animals, everything. All she lacks is the real deal. I showed her some of your videos (she isn't allowed on you tube) and she's dying. And reminding me that if she saves all her allowance from now until she's graduated then she will be able to afford her own jellyfish tank! To which I replied, "You had better be busy studying young lady!" She's a good kid honestly and never asks for anything. Such excitement in her eyes Everytime there are jellies to discuss.

What an incredible and unique collection of fish and coral! I have grown up with fish tanks of all sorts my whole life… What I respect is that you and your team take care of the animals when something scary happens: everyone pitches in to nurse the fish back to health.
