In the last few market updates for the Turbos I have been consistently pointing out the bottoming of the depreciation curves and the latest data further confirms this. All generations besides the 992 and 991.2 saw a flat or close to flat price development. 991.2 Depreciated only slightly and 992s a bit more, but still by a low rate compared to the rest of the market. So if you are a buyer waiting on the sidelines for prices to drop, it might be time to reconsider your position.

E46 M3 update please or Shelby GT350 2015-2020
E90 M3 Lci MT hardtop only!. 19-20 GT350
I'm a big fan of your channel and have been asking for a Bentley Bentayga. I want to know your thoughts on the data especially for the Bentayga speed.
Lets look up those other cars besides the porsche. The Range Rover is also a good one
It will be interesting to see market/depreciation rayes of electric cars, from the cheapest to those high end.
Thanks for the review. Nothing drives like a Porsche
LOVE the Turbo content!! Always. Help us owners keep a watch on what's going on. Thank you!!
996/997 is becoming the last true enthusiast hobby cars, discounted price, analog without extensive skills required to self maintain, large enough used market to find new or used parts, easily modifiable etc. etc. The low mileage turbo is the gem within these markets! Good review…..
Were u around 2008 ? The prices may head down same ratio as then later this year or 2025
Are you referring to a broad-based recession like in 2008? That definitely might be in our future, but this is not an economic forecast channel. Similarly a 1970s stagflation could be right around the corner in which prices would continue to rise, right?
@@SignalCorps1 chances seem good to me . Hyperinflation due to hegemony losing ground
Cheap 992 GTS pre registered demos around also. I had a 992 S my fifth Porsche. Great car
Any way you can get historical data earlier than 2020? I would love love to see each generation 911 starting at an equal time=0 (1999, 2005, 2009, 2012, 2017, 2020 all at 0) for each, to see where we are along the trend of each along the way. Does it create a generalized forecast or is it completely up to economics of the times? Cheers, love your channel and dedication.
Unfortunately i do not have that data available or know where it would be available.
Mercedes SL55 AMG prices please
For the 992 Turbo / Turbo S market, the base has not been reached, in fact I think it will continue to come down, especially with the 992.2 coming out (remains TBD). The 4S market has come down quite a bit and the Turbo market is just lagging. The 4S is not that much different than a Turbo, but have come down quite a bit more.
Another excellent video!
Great analysis as usual. I may need to pull the trigger on that 2018 991.2 Turbo S !!
Another great video!
It is great to hear that you enjoyed it.
Porsche is discounting in China and lowering costs . It’s no Hollywood in EU either
Wish it was that way in the USA. There is some inventory at crazy prices. But they wind up selling...
Interesting. Hoping to incorporate the EU perspective soon so that we can make some comparisons.
@@skippynj1979 were u around 2008-2012 ? We may be heading to that economy again . Many unable to be financed . Used bargains 😵 but let’s see next 2 years or even months . Inflation may hit hard right after. Porsche factory may be building Panzer Tanks
@@Gadfly2025 all true.. thing is... Caymens are gone . 911s going hybrid. Yes I should have picked up 3.2 g50 or a 933 in 2009... But hindsight.. anything can happen. ... Morning is guaranteed.
@@skippynj1979 buyers vote $ , we’ll see. It’s a stupid thing Porsche do to low production cars . They can let VW and Audi make those
I am curious why cars like Civic Type R’s are still selling used as much as new.
Great analysis! Why the flat lining now? I feel it could be to the hugh increase in '23 new car price (expect more in '24), people avoiding the Hybrid, also the interior of the new car (no analog dash), and supply is tight (to meet EU numbers they have to sell apporx 10 EV's to sell one ICE).
Now do Aston DB11s (update)
Good thing i locked my heritage edition in 🎉
Carrera T trend please!
S63 AMG pls
Ferrari 360 Modena or E36 Z3 M Coupe
I did the 360 in my previous video, have a look.
Do the Supra MK5!
You always hyping this models. Market says otherwise brother
I am not, I only show you how the market develops. When the market was correcting i showed you that prices were tumbling (video from end of 22), when the market stabilizes i show you that it stabilizes.
No you’re wrong about that. Porsche’s have easily out performed other high end sports cars for the last four years. I’m not sure exactly why, but the data is clear.
Buying a used 911 is a total rip off. Porsche keeps raising MSRPs to increase profits. Porsche fan boys are just chasing a dream. It's ridiculous and a waste of time
Keep dreaming
Booo hooo hooo… crying.. I’m so sad..😢
Truthfully speaking what automaker isn't increasing msrp?
Agreed but I’m still gonna buy one
Okay, if buying a used 911 is a rip off in your book, what sports car would you think is not a rip off or waste of time?
