ok, given the ingredients, how could these not be yummy? were the naes in your fambly b/c of texture? surely not taste! anyhoo - re: chips - thinking there were not too many chip options back then as today! wasn't there only semi-sweet available? also, cool roller thingy, but here's another tip - take another pan the same size and use it to flatten the dough, i do this on a super cool gingersnap recipe (from Chez Panisse!) - the dough gets plopped into a bread pan, and you use another bread pan to squish the dough flat. surely your editor (your son?) is having as much fun as you are creating these videos! there's just the right amount of his/her hand involved, but allowing you to be showcased. this is a seriously fun channel - i am really enjoying you guys! thanks!
You mentioned your family and there is “ The Fonz”- must be fun at gatherings 😁The Candy/Fudge/bars look delicious-in a category all by themselves. “I’ll have what she’s having”😂you really make cooking fun! Take care
You have a great producer, the appearance here of the Pillsbury Doughboy, last week when you misspoke and said “ start with 10 minute intervals “ for softening the butter- he corrected “ she meant 10 seconds, that would be a disaster “, ( yes, the house would have burnt down)😁Your videos are quite entertaining!
Thank you! I think the graham crackers were put in there for a bit of texture. Now I’m wondering what would happen if they were left out of the recipe! 🤣
Thank you! The mixture is extremely hot when you put the flour in. It also continues to cook, on the burner, until it starts sticking to the bottom of the pan. Great question!
My aunt used to make these around Christmas time every year. That was 40 years ago, but I do remember loving them. I’ll have to give this a shot.
I love your videos..... Keep up the great work. Hugs from Texas

Thank you so much! And my producer is absolutely thrilled that you mentioned the “I’ll have what she’s having” reference. 🤣

🤣🤣🤣
Boiled cookies 🍪 ❤
I was out as soon as I saw graham cracker crumbs! I don’t even like s'mores-type squares or ice cream because of them. But I love your channel. 😀

@@kitchenintheshire I would just use my favorite plain cookie, like Nilla wafers or lady fingers instead...
How do you get on the “taste testing team?” 😂
Looks delicious and easy.
🤣🤣🤣
I know an office that will happily taste test! 😉
Looks good, and I think I'd like the flavor. My concern is the flour--does it get cooked enough? It looks like it just gets blended in.

So are you satisfied with your choice of the mix of chocolates? Or would you make any changes?
I was satisfied with the mixture I used. It wasn’t overly sweet. Thank you for watching!
