Thanks. I just bought this. Bullwinkle D’s arm from the back glass was in the bottom of the game and the lion is missing
Excellent deductive reasoning Cary. Next problem I have with a game, I want to approach it methodical like you did.
It looks like it is in great shape overall. Good score! I missed out on one for $1200 a little while back..and just FYI check the playfield hanger screws they can back out and contact the trough switch and cause issues.. had it happen on my LW3 and it was causing random solenoids to fire and ball trough issues

Nice couple of easy fixes. I thought it was the vuk jam when it spat them out. Interested to see the work on the back box movement.

Biggest issues are always like this: Leaky Batteries creates issues on logic board, ice cold header pins and relays on the PCB's, leaky capacitors, burned Molex pins. Then, loose/missing screws, ugly upkicker assemblies, flipper rebuilds. Of course, on this machine, Rocky slider is usually bad.

After watching the video, one thing is still unclear for me. What is the difference between VUK and SuperVUK? 😎
I don't know the exact definition but I would say that the VUK is when the ball is ejected to the playfield whereas the super VUK ejects to a higher segment of the game i.e. wireform or a second playfield.
@@CaryHardy I was sure it's just a made up name to make it sound cooler.
@@CaryHardy The Super VUK has a microswitch that closes when a ball is sitting on the cap, the regular VUK assembly doesn't.
One came up for sale in my area. What do you think a fair price to pay is in working condition?
3K seems average right now. Market is down though.
@@CaryHardy got ya. The one in my area she’s asking $2k. Seems like a steal. Not to familiar with Data East games.
@@thegerm574 snag it for 2K if it's all there and works. There will be some preliminary things to do on Data East if they haven't been done already. Including the fuse clips I mention in this series.
