There is a reason you are doing so well at your location. I have been to NJ, and NY to help my in-laws buy a car. They live on Long Island. They ended up buying a car here in Ohio. Most dealerships in your area are not what I would call honest. You, and your dealership stands above most of your competition.
Dave, you know what really helps you is your presence on UA-cam you are out there selling yourself and your brand which is a lifesaver compared to others who do not use the social media platform
Dave, you are a dream employee and a car buyers dream. You are not afraid to do what it takes and many of the salespeople who I have worked with in the past are very forgettable. A couple of them literally sucked. Keep up the great work. You are a treasure. I only wish that I lived near you. I am not a Chevrolet buyer typically, but I would buy from you!
Dave I think your market is strong, but the data does not lie. Overall sales are down and prices are declining. There is nothing wrong with that and honestly the market needs to normalize. Glad your still doing well and that your store is doing well, but as a whole the market is slowing/declining.
Chevy is one of the manufacturers that is starting to bring back rebates with customer cash back and lower financing. Good to see them stepping up the plate and being competitive.
Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits, such as regularly setting aside money for sound investments.
After watching so many UA-cam tutorial videos on trading, I was still making losses until Mr. Ricky wen started managing my investment. Now I make $6,800 weekly. God bless Mr. Ricky wen as he has a blessing to my family.
I rented a 2023 Equinox from Hertz with under 2,000 miles while my Jeep Grand Cherokee was in the body shop. What a horrible vehicle, could not hear yourself think at 55 mph. high road noise, and a cheap interior.
Production is way up this year so sales should follow that. 2024 might be a different story. We shall see. The Silverado trucks should move quick. Pickups seem to be popular. Good luck the rest of the way, make that loot.
Good stuff -- helps if your in an area that is in the top 15% household income. Making it happen is harder than it looks I'm sure. Much respect to you.
Way to go, Dave. Love the positive attitude. I am so sick of all the doom-and-gloom auto UA-camrs out there... same old "end of the dealers! end of the car manufacturers!" warnings day in and day out. Good for YOU for staying above the fray & keeping it real. PS: Subscribed to your new channel... hope you stay with the automotive content!
Sorry Dave, but If I had the choice between dealership and direct purchase from the manufacturer I would go Direct every time. Where I live in Canada the dealerships are terrible. Because I can pay cash… the new dealerships hate selling to me. So I just stick with buying used vehicles from independent dealerships and put the money savings in the bank.
Love the content, Dave B! Please keep these videos coming. I’m new to car sales and your videos keep me inspired as well as informed with what’s actually going on in the car sales industry. I appreciate the time you take to make these videos for all of us.
If you are new to car sales the most important thing is to know the product you are selling and I mean inside and out. Dave is in a great position that they have no aged inventory. They are selling inbound units and even orders. I would say that their price is the price and if you don't like it well you need to keep shopping and that's half the battle right there. Dave just needs to make sure the customer is happy and I would imagine that makes his job pretty easy. If you have aged inventory on your lot I would fight with management if I had to if I could move it.
There are several UA-camrs that talk negatively about the auto industry and not doing well. I have stopped watching those since from what I see in my area in Southern Indiana and what you have been experiencing the auto industry is still doing good. I will say that GM has the best selection and better looking models than most. We have owned Chevy now for several years after having Ford, Nissan, and Dodge. I will stay with GM for sure
I believe the reason everyone is being negative is because like you said everyone needs a car and there is an affordability issue right now with cars. The Repo rate is up over 21% right now. So people may need a car and able to buy it but more and more are losing it to repossessions that is scary, we do need to support the auto industry which is why we need to fix these issues with insane interest rates, inflation needs to come down 9% interest with good credit is crazy and let’s be honest in most of America everyone isn’t walking in with a 820 credit score right now to buy a car so it is more like 12-13% interest for the majority of Americans, and when you factor in the median car prices being the highest they have been it is a big issue, as other commenters have said in affluent areas people are just paying cash right now (not that they should because they are still paying MSRP or higher) but in most of America that isn’t an option 70% of Americans don’t even have $400 saved for an emergency fund, so yes I think we do need to highlight the auto industries negatives right now to change the greedy nature of automakers and pricing but also we need to get our inflation under control so that everyday Americans aren’t spending 50k on a decent car with a 1,000 dollar a month car payment, yes Chevy came out with the Trax which is super cheap but let’s be honest it is cheap for a reason GM didn’t just do that out of the kindness of their hearts
Glad you're doing well but I check out dealerships in my area and they're starting to stack up an inventory. I'm seeing the most inventory and lots i've seen in 3 years now
I get around within 4 hours of my area regularly. Some dealers have been starting to get full Lots starting last summer. I think some dealers are afraid of this wonderful economy we are living in. Dealers are paying high interest on their inventory also that may make them think twice.
Can you explain the process of how the dealership gets its vehicles from the factory? Are specific vehicles ordered , or does the factory just send vehicles based on popularity in a certain area?
Dave thanks for another video. It is a proven fact take care of the customer and they will return. I have subscribed to the another channel. Have a great Christmas.
Dave, for Schumacher having multiple Chevrolet dealerships does that help receiving more inventory. Meaning: more new Chevrolet sold by Schumacher auto group more vehicles to to your dealer? Video explanation plz!
I’m glad to hear that the Chevy Sales are up in 2023-Terrific News-And the Chevrolet Silverados and Tahoes are up in sales, Too! You should be very proud!
I would not say the silverado market is Is hot. There is a 100 days plus supply out there. A slippery dealer near you just across the Wisconsin border just had a $5000 dealer mark up on 24 Silverado's to clear out his 23S. You can now get up to $10500 rebates on 23 Silverado's.
Can you go over in a video about the Bolt sold as in bound? With such a long order list and a wait list on the Bolt I’m surprised that an inbound Bolt was even available

They've already taken 13% off MSRP of the vehicle I was looking at 6 months ago. Burn baby burn!! I'll jump in when manufacturers start offering below 3% rates on my vehicle of interest. Not too much longer and I'll be getting that real new car smell. It's been since 2019 and I'm ready.

That tells you all you need to know about Putinlation and bidenomics. People want the security of a new car warranty at the cheapest price they can get.
I refuse to buy a car at 7+ percent interest rates. Thankfully, I had the money to buy two new vehicles in cash in 2022 and 2023. if I decide to buy another car later, I will wait until the interest rates drop back to normal levels.

@@DaveBsellsChevy what I mean is in every video there’s no one in the sales floor area…when in the past ( not your store ) when I was in the dealer almost every salesman desk had a body in it….yours looks dead. Maybe your filming when no one’s in there?

Dave: if you could sell one brand TODAY other than Chevy, what brand would it be? Mainstream brand.
Good Question... People will probably hate this but I'd go to Jeep.. I loved my Wrangler and the community involved in modding & off roading Jeeps
If sales are up,why does your sales floor look dead and cold?
I sold everything
@@DaveBsellsChevy what I mean is in every video there’s no one in the sales floor area…when in the past ( not your store ) when I was in the dealer almost every salesman desk had a body in it….yours looks dead. Maybe your filming when no one’s in there?
@@toddprater14 We only have 4 salespeople at the momemt.. plus not everyone wants to be on video so I have to watch how I film
@@DaveBsellsChevy gotcha that explains it..down to 4 salespeople that’s crazy , years ago I’d remember like 10-14 at the store I bought at….guess with this economy, that many’s not needed…like your channel .
I’m not so sure you’re doing as well as you say. It looks like you can’t afford a shaving razor 🪒. Lol😂
You've been watching too many CarEdge videos with all the gloom and doom.
Lol, no need to even watch. You can tell by the thumbnails
@DaveBsellsChevy You should watch they advocate for customers and provide actual data from multiple sources. Honestly you guys have a lot in common.
@@MrRjsnowden Nothing against them.. I was on their show back when they were Yaa
Maybe one of the reasons your sales are up is because your not marking up cars by 10-20K?
Never did
DayofDave obviously means you are not going to be selling Chevys anymore
No cars over 90 days? Correct me if I am wrong here but arent these all over 90 days?

Those arent our cars. Stock numbers that start with a C are at our Clifton location and any stock number that does not start with a letter is at the Little Falls location. Even though we have 5 locations under the Schumacher name we all operate independently.
