These are perfect to dress up Easter gifts! I needed a little larger for gifts for my grandkids, so following pattern, just went to 10”x30”. Works great. Thank you for this cute idea!
I’m so happy to hear that Charlotte. Please let me know if there is anything specific you’d like me to do a tutorial on. I hope they turn out well❤️👍🏼🐰
Hi. I cut the large size about 60 cm, medium 50cm and small 40cm. I'd recommend wrapping your ribbon around the bag you've made and then tie the bow. Then cut it off to your desired length. I hope that helps :)
A fabric with a print that goes in one direction. I ask because I think I would need to cut it in half and reposition the the opposite side of the fabric in the correct orientation. But I'm not sure how that would affect the size of the bag and the box pleat.
oh yes I see what you mean. Yes it would have 1 side with the pattern upside down. What you could do is cut 2 separate pieces instead of the 1 long piece. Just add an extra 1cm / 1/2” onto the bottom of each piece to take account of the extra seam that you’ll have to add. Then simply sew the 2 pieces together at the bottom seam, with both pieces with the pattern facing the same way. Then follow the same directions for the rest of the tutorial. I hope that makes sense?
Ladies, I did a poll on my instagram account and I hadn’t realised how many people use inches. I’ve always used cm but from now on I will give measurements in both cm & inches. Thank you for alerting me to this ❤
When I first started my videos I gave measurements in metric because that’s what I use but because people asked for inches, I now always give both. This video is an older over so it only has metric. Sorry it hasn’t got inches but I promise I’m doing that it all my newer videos
Measurements in inches are:
4 x 12
6 x 18
8 x 24

Would the pattern change if I wanted to use one way directional fabric? (I am new to sewing)
I’m not quite sure what you mean when you say ‘one way directional fabric’. Any fabric should be fine though as it’s such a simple pattern

How much should the seam allowance be?
I use 1cm or 3/8”
Trying to make the medium size.
For the corners at bottom is it 3 cm aswell?
Thank you.
Yes it is ❤️
@@asewinglife tried the M size.
Its cute and easy to make.
Will try the bigger one.

Calculate what she refers to in the video in google. Not everyone uses imperial and vice versa.
