according to another commentor here, it's also a reference to his intro in the PSX version of X3. The amount of fan service in this game is already insane.
I liked the high jump abillity and nice battle, also at end X shoted backwards lol.

The double ice pilar move is so Aganos from Kiler Instinct, i love it.
To see X3 content done better than the original is glorious.
i loved how beatiful X3 arm armor was, but it was completely useless aside for the charged attacks, i am happy that it is strong now.
Oh my Killer Instinct still so popular it's a shame there's no any news about a new KI game. Also there's more Aganos moves to be added if JKB want to make Buffalo really fierce boss. Talking about KI, JKB can add a few moves from Aganos. Like open arms torso spin while dashing. If it hit it lend a thow straight to the wall against X. Ice bat could be amazing too. Also a punch on the ground wich creates a ice wall surrounding X he has to climb it to escape...
This is going to wind up being the best MMX game ever at this rate.

It's so weird seeing Blizzard Buffalo have actual animation frames.
As opposed to X3, where he just tries to escape the boss room to get away from X.
all the x3 bosses have very few frames, the game was so rushed that they barely have animation
@@omegarugal9283 Honestly a very fair point. I think Toxic Seahorse has the most animation and that's only because his neck moves so much.

That actually made me think of Juste Belmont from Castlevania - Harmony of Dissonance who used a sub-weapon that made him attack with fists rapidly while saying "ORA ORA ORA!".

Battle aside, that intro was great. Theres also so much personality in this boss. Him looking around when you jump in the air, that slow walk for when he's heading towards you. I really appreciate the small details.

I felt every last one of those attacks, albeit more on a psychological level. Those are significant upgrades to Blizzard Buffalo. He *HAS* become a more significant threat now.

Btw despite thinking that his fight in X3 is lame, the frost shield is my favorite weapon in X3 because causes massive damage and killing enemies with it have a higher chance of droping life energy
It's a 100% chance of dropping life when an enemy is killed with the frost shield

Love the fact you kept the X3 boss music. It had the best soundtrack out of the first three games overall IMO
when I first saw him freeze the ceiling at the start of the fight my jaw hit the floor.

@ThelegendaryTom Haxe code can be used to generate javascript/html5 output. Also, just because it's HTML5 doesn't mean that it has to be in a browser. CrossCode, for example. The only non-HTML5 version was the Switch port, as far as I know.

incredible improvement in the battle against blizzard buffalo, the detail of the presentation reminds me of the anime scenes of megaman x3

Between the nostalgic music, the fluid animations and the Jojo reference, this is now even more of a 10/10 game than it already was. Can't wait to see more.

@Liquid Snake It's a fan game built from the ground up. Everything from the character sprites and music down to the engine itself was made from scratch. There is a facebook and discord page for the creator (JKB Games), and he hosts development streams every Friday night on Twitch.

Concordo, o desenvolvimento desse jogo está sendo espetacular, porém acho que está incrementando demais e isso leva mais tempo para ser completado. Poderiam lançá-lo e irem fazendo uptades aos poucos, pois se eles quiserem colocar tudo o que pensam de uma vez, ainda vai demorar muito pra ser lançado

I feel like you've really outdone yourself here. His animations and new attacks are absolutely beautiful. The shoutout to the animated opening he had in the Japanese version of X3 is an appreciated touch too.

There is just something about the 16bit design of X that is so appealing. Wish Capcom would take notice and help fund/release this.

I like how you referenced his personality from the PSX version in his intro. It also gives me minor vibes of Frost Man on top of it. This new anti mobility pattern you gave him is also welcome, as he's one of the easiest bosses to deal with.

EDIT: It'll be a subtle thing but if you guys manage to do like 2-4 frames of him puffing smoke outta his... gas mask face mouth thing, that would be the best ever. Seeing the love put to the spritework, I feel like that's the only thing missing right now.

This fight went from a game of cat-&-mouse to a game of trap setting to stunt escape options. A vast improvement over the original.
I have many classic memories of Flash but in the modern age, good work porting to HTML5.

Volt did a really good job at drawing the custom sprites. They wouldn't look out of place on X3.

Thought this was an actual corruption. But turns out that it is something that is very well made
Before JKB, the word "corruption" meant that something would get worse by decaying.
With JKB at the helm, that word NOW means, "upgraded beyond average combat specifications".
I look forward to seeing how the full game will work out.
