Woah going in the cannon backwards also reduces time by 1 minute because when he entered the cannon the time was at 1:35 and when he came out it became 0:35
1:40 tricking off some mushroom does make you go slower because you get more air, but you can instead get a speed boost after you land and it actually make you go faster. However you should avoid tricking when there are 2 simultaneous bouncing mushrooms cause you get no speed boost (i'm not an expert so correct me if i'm wrong)

hey, something i noticed is that you are not using a technique called "delay drifting". TWD98 made an easy tutorial on it but basically its instead of holding a direction while jumping, you start holding it right after you land from the jump. it takes a while to get used to it (for me it took about 3-4 days). its good because it gives you a better curve radius, and you should use it i. 95% of the curves in this game. i love your content, and i think you are very entertaining. keep up the good work
There’s tons of mechanics he isnt using, why only point out delay drifting? He turns in his wheelies, he doesnt soft drift, he doesn’t squeeze mts, why only delay drifting?
@@pikamain9689 Delay drifting is so simple even my zero braincell cat could do it, while the others you mentioned require at least some effort: not turning during wheelies means you need to get good alignments, which takes practice, while soft drifting is extremely occasional, and pretty much only became popular because soft drifts are much more useful in mk8

You go slower when tricking off every mushroom because you are in the air for longer (you move faster on land than in the air.) The mushrooms to trick on in the tunnel area is the one right before the green mushrooms (allows you to skip the second green if you wanted) and the very last one when exiting the tunnel. I'm pretty sure this is right though someone should probably confirm.
As one of the people who told you about not tricking on Mushroom Gorge, it's faster to *not* trick. Just the ramp, the red mushroom before the first green pad, and the last red pad.

Tricking on mushrooms gives you extra height, so it’s better to not trick on every mushroom, in addition to this it actually makes sense to drift off of some of the mushrooms because it gives you lower air. The second to last mushroom in the cave is the main one that this applies to.
I think this implemented rule about after a race it counts is completely not realistic, because it's the CPU/Computer getting bumped/hit/starred/bulleted/shocked/inked etc NOT you controlling the character so it does NOT count. In addition to, if you are in a star/mega mushroom/bullet bill it does NOT count if you get inked/bumped/hit/shocked, etc because of invincibility frames/protection and plus the other players get starred so it's not much of bump. - I just subscribed Creepy and turned all of your post notifications on and I can't wait to see more of your Mario Kart videos! :D

Um, soft drifting is useful on most turns in the game, and getting good alignments should be done with 08 hop realignments.

Creepy, mushroom gorge is simple: don't trick on mushrooms that will send you to another bouncy mushroom.
