No improvements were needed for the FG 60. The improvements were for a faulty intake design on the FG 84 for fuel distribution not associated in any way with the intake design of the FG 60. The FG 84 had a history of locking up prior to the fix with lots of customers. The FG 60 has a long history of proven performance with no intake problems at all.
How do you adjust one TDC to the next.. Is it just that every camwheel is oriented to TDC? How much you have to turn the crankshaft from Cyl1 to Cyl3 and Cyl2?
Does this mean that after paying 1700.00 for a Saito FG84 this work needs to be done? Yes, My engine locked up after 3 hours of run time. Most won't last that long. Ray has over 20 that have locked up before getting the mod done. Sorry to say but without a main bearing on the crankshaft of a gas engine, it won't last. Saito should have known this prior to release.

I was thinking of buying a 60cc r3. Was wondering if this improvements are still available? Its been a few years.

This is not an upgrade to the engine. Its a fix for the shortcomings of the design.

Engineer in is very poor along with research and development
