in complete electronics there is nothing more

Dear sir I’m srilanken. Watching your channel since 9 or 10 months. Very useful And i learned so many things from you. Appreciate sir.so now I have problem .i try to change laptop charger 19.5 volt to 5 volt. So I dis connect 27 k original resister and connect 10 k preset. When adjusted preset voltage dropped to 5 volt but not stady fluctuating 4.5 to 5.7 volt.so I removed 10 k preset and connect again original resister27 k.voltage becomes 19.5v no fluctuations.after that series another 10 k resister with 27 k resister and checked voltage. It’s came 26 volt without fluctuating.so I disconnect that resisters and add 10 k resister.voltage drops to 8 volt and again starting to fluctuation.19.5 and higher voltage are ok no any fluctuating but lower than 19v becomes fluctuating. Sir what I have to do to get 5 volt from this charger. My charger is Sony 19.5volt 4.7 amps.model VGP - ac 19v 26.sir please help me to do this job.thank you very much

it means its LED driver circuit is faulty.
or might be back cover is not making good connection
