When you get broken enough nothing phases you anymore. The disasters you see on the news. People dying. You put a smile on your face to fool people like the devil. But deep inside you know you're not okay. Two parts of you are battling for control of your mind. A part that wants to reach out for help, and the part that loves the darkness because you cant get hurt if you dont feel anything. Personally, I haven't genuinely cried in months. Most times i feel nothing and the only escape are video games, my best friend, and food. You'll try to offer me help in the comments, don't. I chose to harden my heart this way. But the advice i can give you is its not too late to help yourself, there's light at the end of the tunnel. And im the one pushing you toward it as i fall backwards. Dont give up, you're loved. You're not alone in the pain you feel. ❤

Damn this song really hits me, not me crying while I write this. My dad left when I was 3, I cried for him, wished, prayed and counted on him coming back he never did… he left a little girl sad and lonely. But I finally found him when I turned 24 … but it didn’t last long, I hugged him and cried he promised he would never leave again… he left again.. says I was a pos and I’m exactly like my mother, tells my friends and close one to run from me. I get it. But wow. All I needed was you the whole time, and you can’t even give me that. You’re the one that made me the way I am not my mother. I had to deal with her because YOU left me. 😢 thanks for nothing dad. Thanks for bringing me into a life a I NEVER WANTED

My dad left me when I was 3 looked for him and prayed for him my whole life, finally met him being 24, he was not worth all those tears, hurt, hate and regret. He just abandoned me again 😢 don’t cry, they’re not worth it. I promise you. He wasn’t there now he will never be there. Don’t waste your life wondering what if… like I did. You’re better off and always will be. I promise you that.

Well, In my opinion, They are an amazing band that puts out music that's so powerful and relatable that I just love.
