Well done. IMHO: brine must be boiled to release flavors. Nice to see done correctly. Many, perhaps most people, won't have fridge space for turkey. My preference is to use a small cooler and more ice. Works perfectly, easy to clean.
Is there any need to apply butter on and under the skin and to season the inside cavity with salt and or pepper if you do a wet brine? Or is it not necessary? Also should you apply a little bit of oil and rub it all over the skin before you cook it for it to turn a nice brown color and to be crispy once it's done cooking?
I'm glad her slaves were _finally_ rolled up when she actually put the turkey in the brining bag, but who else cringed when you saw that her sleeves were all the way down and she was working with the food at first? I don't know why people these days work with raw meet when having long sleeves all the way down and also their hair not pulled back or in a hair net.

Using the bag seems like a good idea. I've never used a brining bag before.
OOH YUMMY I NEED TO DO THIS 😛😛😛

the recipe in the description is wrong. its different than what she does in the video.
Surprised you rinsed the turkey
Does bringing give you better results than using a Liquid Flavor Injector
Doing both makes the turkey even more flavorful
I just brined my turkey for hours and it was much much better than when I brined it for 24 hours the last several years. 24 hrs isn't ling enouh

Did you ever find out an answer to your questions? I’m wondering the same thing
does the dry brine have to be exactly 24 hours or can it be less
It can be less, however the longer you leave the brine the more flavorful it'll get.
Turkey in itself is flavorful without the brine
longer the better. she says no more than 24, but I go 48 hours.
Can I do the exact same if my turkey says ‘ basted ‘ on the packaging? Or should I cut down some salt?

Would a regular turkey bag work?
Yes
Are these sold as "brining bags" or is it just a giant Ziploc bag? Going to try this!
They are sold as 'brining bags'! You can find them at most grocery and home good stores!
WholeFoodsMarket Thank you!

I use oven bags.
Can you save the BRINE for later I made it too early
You sure can.
Can you deep fry a Turkey with this method?

Sylvia, she sounds perfectly fine. What a rude comment. You should enroll in some manner classes.
