Did you know that Jesus is the official King of Poland and Mother Mary the official Queen - In April 2016 the Polish parliament put to vote if Jesus Christ would be given the official title of King of Poland, the vote passed and in November 2016 Jesus Christ was officiary crowned as the King of the country.
The Immaculate Mother Mary's title of Queen of Poland goes much further back to 1652 when King John II Casimir crowned "Our lady of Czestochowa" as Queen and Protector of Poland. In 1920 at the request of the Polish Bishops Pope Benedict XV also proclaimed Immaculate Mother Mary as the queen of Poland. And again in 1923 Pope Pius XI established the feast of "Our Lady, Queen of Poland" each May 3rd
The following prayer was recited during the official mass for the coronation of Jesus
Christ, reign over us! Reign over our fatherland, and reign in every nation - for the greater glory of the Most Holy Trinity and the salvation of humanity. Make our homeland and the entire world into your kingdom: a kingdom of truth and life, a kingdom of holiness and grace, a kingdom of justice, love and peace.
